  1. We aren’t as deep but we still play 11 guys??? 10 today without Anderson. It’s surely not Archie’s fault we can’t hit a shot but he controls who plays. No reason to play this many guys when our roster is not adequate
  2. I think I agree to an extent. I think people see this combined with the rumblings of upperclassmen having a disconnect with the coaching staff and start connecting the dots. Not sure how accurate any of it is, but this was something I definitely noticed during the game. I definitely feel for Davis and all the injuries and he was a bit fun to watch early in his IU career but he doesn't seem to help us this year. Green...I'm not sure about to be honest, such a frustrating player to watch at times.
  3. Not to rain on anyone's parade, but has anyone heard of rumblings of former Knight players telling Knight to stay home as this reunion isn't isolated to just Knight players? That's quite disappointing if accurate
  4. Maybe I’m wrong but it really looked like Justin Smith was imitating the move of the offensive player and explaining why he got lost on defense during that exchange. I could be wrong and your surely not the first to take issue with that exchange, that is just what it appeared like to me but I honestly didn’t rewind to rewatch but I know one of the mods did. As for De’Ron in one of those replays he was clearly shaking his head and whispering to Devonte after Trace had missed a bunny but was fouled going into one of those timeouts

    OC Candidates

Moxley - formerly known as Dean Ambrose from WWE. And then Cody and Dusty Rhodes. Probably the biggest names outside of the indie guys who either flamed out or never got a shot in the WWE
  6. I’m not throwing in the towel yet but I just don’t get the reservations about sending some of those guys to the bench when they aren’t playing well. He did late with Green but perhaps Archie’s has so few options but we play enough guys a night where he can teach a guys a lesson for poor play. Confusing for me to be honest

Going to the AEW ppv in Chicago at the end of February. Off topic but looking forward to it
  8. With this roster, we have 0 business going 11 deep
  9. No Green most of this second half, not going to hold my breath he’s not starting on Saturday
  10. Very good point - I hadn’t really noticed. Was thinking there was less hero ball this half
  11. Finally some fire...with 8 minutes to go
  12. That replay there at the end is telling. De’Ron does not want to be there. Always liked him and I feel for him with the injuries but some of these guys aren’t in it fully
  13. I’ve watched them all, sadly. Just wish Archie would use the bench as a teaching tool. If you’re not going to make the tourney might as well teach and get better.
  14. Why not just play the freshman and sophomores at this point. Season is clearly not going anywhere, could it be worse than what you get from Green, Smith and co.? Or is that a bit of self preservation from Archie?
  15. I’m holding out hope we come back, but at this point I’m just delaying me watching AEW. I can’t believe some of this, at home losing to an 8 player NW
  16. Phinisee is a shell of what he was last year. It just can’t all be his conditioning either, so odd
  17. Durham just drives with no purpose. That’s two times in a row now
  18. I at least have more faith in Archie’s half time adjustments than I ever did Crean. Need to figure out something - this NW team is not good. We very well may not be either but we need to win this one
  19. Archie players, Crean players, doesn’t matter just want someone to care
  20. Oops, definitely missed it. That's my bad
  21. I may have missed it, but is Phinisee practicing much yet? Totally agree we need him out there, but wasn't sure if he's been practicing and/or healthy enough to give us that kind of minutes yet.

    Negativity Thread

At the risk of myself, is this not a valid concern? I remember during Crean's tenure him being picked apart after games for what he offered up during post game pressers from focusing on deflections, getting out in transition, you name it. I'm not sure how often LCS has repeated that particular line, but I found that to be alarming most definitely after the Maryland contest. Note: I say this as a big fan of the Archie hire and don't really want to see him fired, I just want him to figure things out whether that be with better players, better system, etc. I just want him and the team to win. Hopefully I don't get the ban-hammer for this post but I found that presser to be a bit alarming as it seemed he was focused on the wrong things, but I imagine it's gotta be tough answering questions after a performance like that.

Hope we win on Wednesday as this board is becoming like Britney Spears circa 2003: Toxic

Totally agree. I was so excited when they hired him. Was my second choice behind Donovan and as been discussed here that was a pipe dream but those reports of him in Bloomington I thought it was realistic. I just don’t see this being fixed next year and I don’t see how he makes it beyond that at the rate we are going. Just so disheartening

Just watched his post-game presser and he said a few 50/50 balls both ways really changed the game. He lost me there, we lost by near 30 before their walk-ons came in to finish? Can someone help me out here, did I watch the same game? He may just be searching for answers on some of these tough questions after games like that but that just blows my mind.
