Hiller have to religious denominations to get the axe? Probably a nice guy, but either get serious about winning or GTFO! Figure it out IU -

Fair enough - put up or shut up year IMO for IU football. Another year like last year and Allen's seat has to warm a bit. Eventually soundbites needs to turn to wins. 2020 was magical, but ancient history at this point. Just win baby! -

Some sensitive Sallies in here Jones wasn’t good at T period last year - hoping Haggerty is much better. Jones probably a good dude though. Not sure what’s so wrong to criticize on-field/court play -

I remember really wanting Ebanks to commit to IU. Final 4 with WVU - flamed out as a pro as I can't recall much from him -
Could be a whole lot worse than 6? Ivey still in play potentially at 6 if that's what Pacers want too. Not sure hysterics are needed

Stay away, imo. I can't imagine next year is going to much smoother for Bates, or for his choice of school, with him having one foot out the door ready to prep for the draft at any moment. Unless he can put on some muscle I can't imagine the B1G being a great fit for him anyway. He looked very thin against Gonzaga. Bates is a clear cut fit for Ignite - shocked he even spent a year in college basketball as is.

We didn't get the benefit of the calls today in our own building. Scared these ladies get jobbed against UConn. Ratings would benefit having Geno and Beuckers in that final 4 -

Last 2 minutes of game take 30 minutes with all these reviews. All for getting calls right, but this is ridiculous with the clock corrections and reviews Watched the end of that Belmont vs Tennessee game and it was the same way -

Chen got caught in the air and Patberg intercepted the pass for those not watching -
Trying to be kind and optimistic, but that’s underwhelming

He got any brothers?

You know a lot of people go to college for 7 years....

Talent disparity could be caused by the style of the basketball. If you're a guy looking to make that leap to the NBA as soon as possible, you'd want to go to the a conference that allows to showcase those skills. The way the conference is called now, there are far more appealing options

And Micah McFadden somehow gets kicked out of the game

Happy to hear Geronimo is coming back - think he's set himself up for some major minutes. But one thing besides his ball handling that he needs to work on is moving onto the next play. His athleticism gives him the confidence to go after every offensive rebound, and rightfully so, but sometimes it's better to move onto the next play. He got called for an over the back a lot this year. Hard to work on that outside of game action, but he'll be needed for major minutes and it doesn't help us with him on the bench for picking up bad fouls 90 feet away from the basket. Not sure what thread this properly goes, just my observation thinking he'll be stepping into the starting lineup assuming Race and TJD leaving an opening spot for him

They've been close to a championship, which I'm sure is reason enough to cite that they are knocking on the door, but watching the other top teams play it's a noticeably different brand of basketball being played

Davison got a way with a knee nudge there. Didn't change much but definitely noticed that leg and knee getting underneath that Iowa State player before the turnaround
-
Honestly curious if a Michigan and/or Purdue run would make the powers at be resist that change. I have a feeling it would. Oddly enough the physical and tough conference play seems to be engrained in the marketing
-
Something oddly satisfying watching Davison cry and moan about not getting every call

2022 NCAA Tournament / Bracket Reveal

Houston with only one guy above 6'10". Gives me some hope for IU if Woodson doesn't find a true replacement for TJD. They are strong across the lineup so not a 1 to 1 comparison, but man do they play hard -

Curbelo could have sat all 40 today and I don't think it changes the outcome. Houston is tough -

There's got to be some accountability for these bad calls in game. It's not easy no doubt to ref these games, but that was bad
