He looks relieved to have made the second one. Mental with him more than physical -

Woodson letting Leal coach this half? Looked like he called the timeout -

Malik I thought showed great patience in the post in traffic as a freshman. Starting to wonder if he has one mode when he catches the ball down there. Ball has a tendency to stick to him -

Woodson has better than than Archie but this roster construction has been puzzling as some of the Crean teams were. Don’t understand the seemingly lack of desire to upgrade the guard rotations when the portal is available -

We can always revert back to Marc Cuban follows. Who doesn’t like DairyQueen -
Saw the NIL increase announcement, but any announcement in terms of facilities upgrades? Possibly we’d hear that at same time as new coach hire?
-
After the past few seasons, shouldn’t the hire be made hoping for this scenario, rather making a hire trying to avoid it. I’d take having a to replace a coach due to too much winning than having to ask for money to fire and hire a coach

Apples to oranges likely but Sean Lewis went from Kent State HC to OC at Colorado

Is that really a fit for Indiana football? I think there's also some vague ties to IU for Gruden and his family, can't recall what. Not advocating for it - but in terms of a Coach Prime like buzz around the program - Jon Gruden would be close or near to it. We're talking about the first and only D1 program to lose 700 games in history, if a former Super Bowl champion coach has interest in this program, Dolson should at least call. More stable options, but with portal and NIL Gruden might be able to stabilize things quicker than others due to his name It also could be a complete disaster..

Super Bowl XXXVII

No Dolson fan, but the women's basketball team is top 15. The men's team since he made a hire has made the tournament both seasons - which is what the AD at IU will always be measured by; and his men's soccer program is in the elite 8 among other program successes. Dolson has his flaws and I certainly don't get warm and fuzzy with the idea that he's calling the shot on this football hire after that awful Allen extension, but his incompetence hasn't done all that bad

Little desire to pay for a sweet stadium to watch a team go 3-9

No way...Vince Vaughn and Jon Favreau would have never let him leave South Bend

Gunn not finding the minutes this half -
Any idea what changes Allen might be referring to? Facilities, assistant coaching salaries, NIL, portal? Or just deflecting blame?
-
We'd win the introductory press conference that's for sure. Knock on wood if you hear me
-
Likely 4 straight seasons of not winning the B1G West. After going 9-0 and 1st alone in the West in 2017 - never got back to that. COVID season and losing to Allen didn't help Did make the conf title game in 2019 once more but started to slide after that
-
Likely from the state of Wisconsin. He have enough pull to get them to leave the state and come to a cellar dweller of the conference? He's got a pedigree no doubt, just not sure he's a homerun hire for the 17 and 18 year old's he will be recruiting
-
Coach Orgeron isn't coaching is he?
-
We sure Michigan and Ohio State both won't be looking for new coaches?
-
That would be a definite departure from LEO. Also would generate a Coach Prime like buzz for better or for worse
-
Don't disagree that he's not a fine coach, but he'd have to recruit the OL really well based on his style at Wisky. He doesn't strike me as having an exciting brand of football to attract athletes out of Florida to result in a very high ceiling at IU. Would very well likely raise the floor from where IU stands currently

Moore, Huff, Wommack or Sumrall of Osterman's list for me
-
Usual cast of characters. Sherrone Moore from Michigan, Candle from Toledo, Eastern Mich coach Creighton, ARE, Tulane coach, Marshal HC, Sean Lewis former Kent St/Colorado OC, Kane Wommack Moore and a huge facility package announcement would be pretty exciting. Moore likely going to have better suitors I'd expect though
