What!! I can't believe we made it this far. Maybe Crean could show how he can be a faster version of Cody Zeller in our offense. Thoughts ? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners -

Honestly I think mostly everyone took it as slight against Crean and not the players. I believe there were two or three subs at one time so it wasn't pin pointed in one individual but an action that was taken. I was fine with the booing under those circumstances because if an entire stadium voices their concern it's a peaceful sign to the administration that certain standards are expected of a program and that they were not being met. It's a wake up call. I've been a season ticket owner for the past twenty years and I've never seen an entire stadium protest like that. To me it was a release of frustration and not a slight on any one individual but the Coaching staff. Just my opinion. I rather have them boo then start riots, and burn trees like they did when Coach Knight got fired. That was disgraceful. -

I believe nobody booed the players, they booed the subbing patterns. Several sources back that up at 247 and the Herald Times. -
I would love this but I think Crean might be threatened by him because if he were stagger, Fife would probably be the interim manager.

Just feels unbaseball like to me. We play a ton of games, one would think that's worth a bid. But hey I'm still new to the world of college baseball. I hope we keep it rolling to Omaha. -

If we win the Big ten does that automatically get us into the tournament, or do we get voted in? -

If he slips to the second round my team "THE" NY Giants might make a stab for him in round 2. -

Oak Hill is a great program. I'm sure he learned something there. I'm just not sure right now. -

Just wondering. If we stopped using all of our resources on those guys and focus on good fundamentally sound big guys who can rebound and block shots perhaps. I just remember Van Treese from Louiville didn't end up highly touted by the end of his high school career, but now is providing good minutes for them. However that means we would have to have a powerful 1-3. Just think Crean might be stymied with a bad rep of not being able to cater to elite big men. I know that we can boast that Vonleh and Cody might both be top five picks, but others seem to believe that they were that way through their own accord.

Should we stop recruiting five star centers?

I believe Jared Jeffries did the same.

You bring up some good points Townie. He made those improvements, but at the same time I feel their post moves were pretty much the same as when they left. It's all relative, but I just feel that the moves you described would have been emphasized by any decent Coach. Again it's just my opinion. -
I think this kid at first should be relied upon to first give Perea a few minute of rest and nothing more. It's not fair to have high expectations for him right now.

When he get the ball in the post he tends to put his hands down low. He's going to have to change that to avoid guards getting easy steals from him.
