The one consistent for this team has been the lack of defense ( except for the last five minutes of the Maryland game).  What are the specific problems in your opinion? Do you guys think Coach is not devoting enough time in the practice sessions  to teach defense? Or is it lack of player commitment?     I personally don't like how we allow the other teams to get comfortable to apply their offensive flow.  I would like to apply more hard fouls, or apply pressure to keep them off balanced for a couple of plays. There are other problems, but I want to know from you what those other problems are.  Thanks.

That hurts but it's true.

I think we have a interesting fan base.  We have the old guard ( like myself) who has seen us be an elite program.  Then we have the new guard who have not seen  success in the past couple of decades.  What do you guys expect?  I personally would like a team that always goes to the tournament, with a good healthy dose of sweet sixteen, elite eight and final fours.  Where do you guys stand, and whats your reasoning behind your opinion.  Thanks.

No we need defense. Defense leads to easy transition buckets.

How about making sure these kids get good gpa's their first semester (with core classes)? Also their second semester. For each kid that does not meet requirements, a scholarship will be taken away the following year. Take that Kentucky.
