Come on Defense. You know they are going to run the damn ball. You can't give them 8 yards per run.

IU just can't handle success. We could have gone into 1/2 time with a two score lead. Get the ball back to the start the second half, and really put pressure on a third string quarterback. Now.....

That actually makes a lot of sense, but he was in front of their quarterback, and then got out of the way. All he had to do was slow down in front of their QB, not even throw a block and it would have been a TD.

Yep Both teams have scored every time they have had the ball, but Nebraska sure has made it look really easy.

I made the comment to someone last week, that we don't need a GREAT defense, We just need the D to NOT be bad. Unfortunately, what we are seeing now, is what happens when the Defense is bad. Something tells me I am not going to be able to stay up until 1:00 AM like last Saturday. :(

All I know is that if IU makes a bowl game this year part of me is going to be very upset. But only because I know my wife won’t let me fly back to see it.

Well, that game was a snoozefest, but as others have said, It was actually good for IU to take care of business. The game literally was not in doubt after about the first 8 minutes. It was obvious from the first series, that it was the men against the boys. The one thing that concerned me was the lack of a running game. it just didn't look good. That aside. This was probably the last game I will get to see for at least the next three years. For sure the last game in person, maybe the last game live. So I had a blast.

At least it worked. I wasn't holding out much hope for a run up the middle. :)

Well, I leave Wisconsin on Thursday. I drive to Southern Indiana Thursday, Get to go to the IU game on Saturday!!! Then Sunday my son drives down from Indy to take me back to Chicago! I catch the 8:00 PM from O'Hare to Zurich, and then my European adventure truly begins. My wife has already been over there for three months now. I wonder if I'll get lucky when I get there on the 9th? Probably not.. :)
