Well, I took a nap before the game, so I might last longer than. the first half.

Well it starts at 1:30 AM for me. I am going to stay up and watch at least the 1st quarter, and we will go from there. I am so ready to believe, but not quite there yet. Hoping for a good game. And I HATE the fact that the conference now stretches from one coast to the other. I understand why, but I don't like it.

but can the team do that? Our offense seemed to get progressively worse last week (just based on scoring I didn't stay up to watch the 2nd half.)

Enjoy the game tonight. No way am I staying up until 3 or 4 AM to watch this one. I am saving that for UCLA. :). Just saw something that IU is a 42 point favorite? Will we cover the spread? On a side note, I am glad to see that IU is doing something to try and get attendance to the game. My 86 year Dad talked to me this morning, and he is heading up to Bloomington at 1 this afternoon for some kind of tailgate party.

I think 5 with the chance for a bowl coming against Purdue. Though I can't describe how happy I will be going to a bowl. My Dad is 86, and I think it would be great to go to another together!

I agree. This is one of my biggest fears. Through the years the team we saw the first game was pretty much the same team we saw the last game. I know, I know... different coach.

One big difference is the receivers this year seem to know where they need to be for a first down.

Yeah, I am not there yet. I mean IU should be wiping this team out. I know that has not always been the case, but I want to see how they handle a B1G Team.

I think what I like on Defense is I am not hearing anything about MISSED TACKLES.

I saw something from the Athletic Department that Season Tickets were up 10% from last year, and that Student ticket sales were the highest in a few years.

I think we learned the hard way, that having a good QB doesn't mean anything if you don't at least have a mediocre offensive line that can keep him upright! I don't think that Penix would have left if he had some protection in front of him.

Well I decided to not stay up all night to watch the game so I watched it this morning instead. I am sure I will simply say what has already been said.... This game told us as much about the team as last weeks. Not a whole lot. I do think Jackson cemented himself as the starter, but what the hell do I know. I was infuriated with all the stupid penalties. Two running into the kicker penalties? Comeon. Just sloppy. Louisville to me is the game that is going to say something about the team. Win and I see at last 6 - 6. Lose 4 -8.

Well the game lasted a LOT longer than I thought it would. Need to find an offense.

It is almost 11:30 for me,. and if someone had said I would still be up watching the 2nd half of this game I would have accused them of being on drugs.
