I would love to Phin go out on a high note this season. All these players need something good to happen this season! Although if I hear Stephen Bardo say, "Oh, I just want to go down there and give that kid a hug.", I'm going to lose it!

Banks is a good start but we need Clowney IMO.

I think this guy will give our usual suspects in the league fits with lock down defense and attitude. Wisconsin and Purdue especially should be on high alert. He's coming for you!!!!

Agreed! I grew up in a rural setting and high school where hard rock was prevalent. However, the older I got, the more appreciation i had for music that was in my childhood. My parents had a Mercury Cougar with an 8-rack player. They always had music on and to this day I catch my happy place going back to those memories. Neil Diamond, Burt Bachrach, Kenny Rogers, etc. I love discovering new bands and music, but I know I have good roots to fall back on.

Today I'm going with something a little off to the side. Devo's first album is amazing if you have an open mind and realize the musical genius of Mark Mothersbaugh. Devo was a very misunderstood, underappreciated band.

This is a good example of kids with dreams of being in the NBA. GET YOUR DEGREE!!!! Life after basketball can effect everyone differently and this is a case where it bad really fast.

It may take a good non-conference win but they should crack it and move up pretty quick.

I have to sit here and wonder though that this pick may have a touch of Matta behind it. He knows the B1G and what it takes to win in this conference. Others have said it in this thread that he is the piece they need to bang with the goons in this conference and this one might have came from the front office.

It seemed with the past few years, a physical team always got the best of us. With this roster, I don't see any team pushing us around. Being able to hold our ground and finish those close games are a difference maker when trying to get in the NCAA's. I can only believe that we will be able to play downhill with some physicality. It's time for some payback boys!!!

Agreed. But I see him as a high basketball IQ. He would have to really focus on improvements to get a glimmer of playing time next season. I am sure he will but I see him only getting 1-3 minutes per game.

The sun just got a very tiny bit brighter for Leal and Galloway.

I just caught that POD cast on the way into work this morning. Very enjoyable and genuine to listen to. Gives much credit to those around him. I think he will bring a lot of the mindset that he had growing up to today's players that WANT to take advantage of his knoweldge.
