I have a sister who (within the last two years) moved down to Venice Beach. They absolutely love it! Besides getting used to the weather, they are always the youngest couple when they go to a neighborhood cook out. The snakes are worse than the gators. If you can swing it, get a membership to a local marina. They get a fueled up pontoon once a week and cruise the inter-coastal. My in-laws used to live in Spring Hill and that is full of retired East Coasters. We have had good times and bad times there. Whatever you do, don't forget where you came from. Everyone I know that moves down there seems to have long term memory loss. Good luck on your new career.

Never once did I say that Trey was a better shooter than Kopp. The versatility that Trey has is much better than Kopp. Miller is a better spot up shooter, but that is everything in his basket. What I am saying is that I truly believe we would've won 2-3 more games if we would have had a healthy Trey. I agree that we need a 16-17ppg shooter in this lineup, but I don't see this out of Kopp. Trey can manufacture points and/or make others around him available to score.

I would love to see what an injury free Trey could do. I have zero confidence in Kopp (please don't start him next season).

I thank the Lord that I even made it through my 20's. I look back and shake my head at my own stupidity.

This is a little off topic for this thread but I wasn't sure where to place it. Long story somewhat short: A gal that works in my department just showed me an awesome text video of Coach Woodson. Her brother in Texas just had open heart surgery and is in recovery right now. Her brother was an '82 alum at IU. It just so happened that his best friend and frat brother was recently golfing with Woodson in Florida. In the text video CMW wished her brother a speedy recovery and that he was rooting for him. (I'll try and post the video if she permits me to). To me, this is what I am looking for in our leadership. This gives me strength to know that CMW is here for the right reasons and will continue to grow this program in the right direction. I am all in for Woody!

I was never a huge Quinones fan after his commitment to Memphis. He thought that he hit the lottery with Memphis and it never panned out. Of course this was during the Wiseman year also.
