Is Coach Crean feeling the heat?

    Matt Carlino to Marquette

Please don't turn this thread down the usual negative path.

    Matt Carlino to Marquette

Absolutely!   This kid moves more than my grandfather on prune juice.   He always had Illusions of Grandeur.

I thought Izzo and Crean were buddies.

business is business, friends are friends.   Izzo has a job to do just like Crean.  Success is earned, not given.

    OT: Shaka Smart to Marquette?

Man, there are more rumors flying around here than the IU recruiting process.

    Greener pastures....

The season is over and a little disappointed.   As passionate as we all are about IU basketball, we have every right to vent frustration.    We also have many things to be thankful for.   *Thank you Noah, Troy, Stan, Devin, and Colin for choosing IU.  Please work hard and become the great players we know you can be.  For months, our only recruites were Devin and Colin.  Can you imagine not having Noah, Troy, and Stan on the team this season?   *Thank you JBJ, Rob, and Max for choosing to play for IU.  You will bring an added element to this team next year that will change the landscape of the offense.   *Thank you Yogi for carrying the team at times when it was needed.  It brought out the shooter in you which has given you an added dimension to your game.   *We should have the best guard play in the B1G next year.   *If Noah does leave and we have unexpected transfers, it was meant to be.  We have no control over that.   *I look forward to the next recruitment addition that could be added to next year's class.   *I look forward to the scouting reports that the Colonel so generously supplies to us.  Who is going to be the next announcement...   *There looks to be a great finish in the IHSAA boys state tournament.   *The NCAA tournament is the most balanced it has been in years and looks to be a good one.   *CTC may have his flaws...but don't think that he doesn't know it and recognizes it.  He will continue to recruit, he will continue to guide, and he will continue to get better personally.  Admidst all of the frustration of you and I, he does get it.   There is much to appreicate and look forward to.

    Greener pastures....

It could be more of a leach pit instead of greener pastures for the Boilers. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Troy Williams WILL!!!!!!!

    Who are you pulling for...

It would be nice to see a B1G run it and give some glimmer of justification to our season outcome.
  12. I have Iowa State as my sleeper Final Four.   Florida - Arizona would be a very good matchup.

    Greener pastures....

Good catch!  My apologies for leaving him off.   I think Will used his opportunity at IU to the fullest extent.  He brought the needed swagger to the team.

    SMU at IU next year

SMU will be in the top 10 next year.  They have a solid base returning with a stud recruit coming in.  That's the kind of game and recognition we need.   Not the 50 point blow outs to Central Connecticut State A&M Technical Institute's.   It's time to man up!

    #IHSAA Boys/Girls State Tournament

Hate to say it but Dwenger was the better team to come out of the Blackford Regional.  They are extremely physical and get just enough edge to beat you.  They will give Bowman fits but do not expect them to come out of Semi.

Why continue on with this team. Season's over. Start building for next season and leave this one as a distant memory. Bad end to a bad season.

OT: How did you find us?

A little birdie said that the Colonel was hanging out on this site.  I checked it out and immediately signed up.  It feels like I was away at summer camp and now I am home again.  Inside Indiana was brutal in my opinion and I was about done with it.   thank the heavens that btown is here and thriving.

    Luke Fischer

What about Noah?  Who pals around with him and is trying to talk him into staying another year?

    Proud of our

I also see a lot of confidence oozing out of this team.   I think the two scariest teams in the tournament are IU and Nebraska.   Too bad we are in the same bracket.

    #IHSAA Boys/Girls State Tournament

Norwell came out unscathed from their Sectional.   Regional includes:  Northwood vs. FW Bishop Dwenger and Norwell vs. Muncie Central   These teams are identical in the style of play.  Should be interesting.   Go Knights!
