I have always been a fan of high school basketball and this thread will give you a chance to talk about your favorite team, player, rivalry, etc. for both boys and girls. We like to follow recruits obviously as much as possible but there are a lot of hardworking kids out there that deserve a thread.

Oregon is a tournament quality team. If you want to tune yourself up for the tournament, you play a team like Oregon. I thought we were in good position to beat a tourney team on the road in an unfamiliar venue. We didn't play great down the stretch and we still could have won. You have to be tough and play like a man if you want to go deep in the tourney. Rebounds, 50/50 balls, defense has to be a must or you will not win. The ONE thing the announcers said that I agree with last night is that Oregon never stopped on any possession. They made rebounding difficult. They put down in interior put backs. They made clutch shots to always stay one step ahead in that game. By the way, the officiating was horrendous last night. How could you say that it wasn't?

This is strictly opinion and speculation: Seniors - Obviously gone (except Goode might be a long shot) Juniors - I have a feeling Reneau sticks around for his Senior year. Sophs - This gets interesting. Carlyle stays (paid too much), Cupps I feel will get more PT somewhere else, Mgbako moves on, Rice stays (again paid too much). Freshman - Newton moves on, Tucker is already as good as gone. '25 - '26 - Goode (?), Reneau, Carlyle, Rice, Sisley, Zrno Hello portal and maybe the new coach (if college level) brings some studs with him.
