  1. KU poster claims the meeting took place on the 18th, still within the recruiting period.
  2. Just trying to bring some fresh material to the board to keep things lively...lol.
  3. Was just passing along what they were talking about on their board, one poster is claiming that when Self and Romeo did "meet" that Romeo verballed to KU. Thanks for your info, Pap.
  4. SIAP, poster named tonto is sticking with the rumor that Self did "meet" with Romeo yesterday, and there will be news this weekend that won't be bad for KU. https://kansas.247sports.com/Board/59455/Contents/Romeo-Langford-116823649?Page=13
  5. Well on the Vandy board the other day one insider said the coaching staff had been told, but another insider disputed it. Also, Vandy picked up a transfer yesterday, and hosting another one soon, so that could be telling, or not. Kansas fans seem optimistic though.
  6. I thought the Langfords said no more visits would be taking place.
  7. Crean recruited many high end players, too, they just all didn't want to play for him, Archie is different, kids want to play for him.
  8. I could see that, however unlike Vanderbilt, IU has a history of landing 5 star talent.
  9. We will, not next season, but with Archie we will hang another banner.
  10. Yeah, that one never made sense to me either.
  11. SIAP, I saw this linked article on another site, and the Vanderbilt fans are loving it on their board. They are a confident bunch, hope they're wrong. http://www.news-sentinel.com/sports/2018/04/18/dan-vance-with-decision-day-looming-romeo-langfords-choice-should-be-simple/
  12. I don't recall specifically, I went to a couple different boards of theirs, and they all seem the same.
  13. So I made the mistake of visiting a Kansas board, and on top of them having an "insider" telling them their source is saying Romeo is picking Kansas, they also don't think too highly of IU, and what kind of team IU could be with Langford next season to the point of being dismissive of IU legitimately having a shot at Romeo. The few KU posters who think he may choose IU think it's only due to pressure to be the hometown hero, and not that Romeo would actually want to play for IU otherwise. It's when I see things like that that I really hope Romeo Langford chooses to don the candy stripes on April 30th.
  14. What is this in context to? Do you mean having posters who provide sourced information for the board without revealing their source? If so, I agree, no need to try to have people divulge where they are getting their information, unless it's publicly known on another site that can be linked to it. You can either trust the poster, or don't.
  15. Doubt you'll get anything solid until he actually commits, the Langfords have kept things very close to the vest, just have to read the tea leaves.
  16. While nothing is for sure until Romeo announces, having followed recruiting many years, normally when rumors start picking up like this, and things start trending strongly towards one school, it usually ends up being right. Again it's not an exact science, and there have been surprises in the past, but things look good for IU right now.
  17. Now an apparent insider on the Vandy board is saying their coaching staff has been informed that Romeo will not be going there. http://www.14powers.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=6935
  18. I perused a Vandy board, and despite the latest crystal ball changes, and Jerry Meyers done deal to IU comment, their fans still seem adamant that Garland is going to reel Romeo in to Nashville. Right or wrong they are going down with the ship.
  19. Well I am sure the Langfords are appreciative of the support, especially from the IU fans, but I don't think Romeo would select IU because he'd be disappointing those fans who supported him, he needs to make his decision based on what he feels is the right fit, and right now the buzz is that it could be IU.
  20. If that were the case, then Chris007 would have been at 100%, not 98.1%. Might be paperwork submitted for housing and such though.
  21. I really would like to see Trendon follow big brother Christian's footsteps, and come to IU, and have his own historic Wat Shot.
