This team had the worst execution down the stretch of games of any IU team I can remember. There is no confidence to take shots or FTs by anyone

My initial feel says the same, close gut wrenching loss. Of course, I hope that's wrong.

We would have been crushed by both Michigan and Illinois today with the way that one was played. Michigan is still a more worthy tourney team than IU imo.

This second half may be painful

Good first half. Proud of the players but we have another half and northwestern won't shoot that poorly in the 2nd half.

Also a couple of replays of Kofi in the block were funny if you were watching his feet. He moves his pivot foot often.

Illinois got away with a lot of travels. Probably wouldn't have mattered but they were consistently shuffling their feet on the catch before putting it on the floor.

Trayce will go to the NBA this year but he will be outmatched physically every game similar to today. Why he can't develop a jumper we'll never know. 3 point shooting needs to be better. At some point the starting lineup needs to be adjusted if we aren't going to run plays to get Kopp and Stewart looks.

11-9 to 13-7 is where this team is trending to finish Big 10 play. I think all of us would take that if asked at the beginning of the year.

If we take care of business and beat the teams we should beat from here on out we are a tourney team. And unlike previous years I actually have the confidence in this team to do it. If we win the games @Northwestern, Maryland, @Minny, and Rutgers then we don't NEED any of the games remaining against ranked teams. Though I'd certainly prefer to win the 2 remaining home games against Illinois and Wisky.

I'd predict the opposite. TJD with early foul trouble is more likely.

I like the trajectory of this team. I don't look to much into that Michigan loss. They are a very talented team trying to keep their season afloat while we are coming off a huge rivalry win against a top 5 team. Other than that game this team looks primed to compete with everybody

The refs have been incredibly inconsistent. Ticky tack to open the half and now apparently we can hand check them all the way down the lane on drives

We need Xj, Galloway, TJD, Race, and Geronimo right now

Nobody can convince me that these refs aren't keeping Maryland in the game
