Great post Scohutch. I also am extremely intrigued by OG. I'll admit all I've seen of him is one highlight video, but I think he has the frame and athleticism to become a really solid 3 guy for us. Let's hope he has the work ethic. Also, Jerry Meyer (at least I'm pretty sure that's who said it) labeled OG as the most athletic incoming freshman in the BIG.

Yeah the feeling on campus is one of resentment and disappointment towards the players more than anything. Especially towards stan yogi and troy. Like another poster said as well, some people on the team are just fortunate enough not to have been caught like others. I won't name names. I will say one thing though, people need to lay off Emmit. Hes one of the good ones.

I've seen this firsthand as well as heard other stories.

it's funny that you bring up basically our 4 man and a driving guard out of rojo, Z, max, etc. we have an abundance of shooters on this team.

Looks like we're going to win a lot of games then.

I'm making an argument based on what I see, and yours is that he hasn't played an actual game as the only reason. Doesn't really make much sense to me as freshmen contribute all the time. They're going to get lots of minutes on this team and put up numbers from day 1. I don't care what other players have done in the past as it has no relevance on this year or these players.

so your whole premise is that the only reason you think they're overrated is because they havnt played a college game? That's a pretty weak argument. And I only quoted one word said by Crean. The others are from my observations watching every game of the Canada trip and HH.

We have the best backcourt in the BIG, so how do we have no depth? Everyone besides you can see that JBJ will be a stud from day one. He has been his whole career and I don't see that changing anytime soon. Also, would like to hear why you think Rojo is overrated? To quote Crean, he's a "Pitbull" that plays hard defense, has a great bball iq, doesn't turn it over, gets to the rim, hits shots, I could go on. Rojo is gonna do big things this year. He's probably my favorite player on this team.

My take on HH this year is that it seemed to lack the excitement of previous years, no pep band to get the crowd pumped up, Crean was distant and acted very different from his normal self, sage Steele was okay but I seem to remember her being much better the last time, and there were too many long pauses/silences. Idk the crowd just seemed subdued as compared to previous years. It was missing something

Student here, so I'll definitely be there. Havn't missed one since freshman year of high school
