Thought devonte was the biggest standout, obviously. The usuals looked good (Thomas, RoJo, OG). Thought James ball handling looked improved, and he stroked some as well. Newkirk looks fast and more comfortable in this style of offense. Davis will be a nice force and shot blocker, but he really needs to work on his conditioning. Gelon needs a lot of work. Just a meaningless scrimmage, but those are my takeaways.

Don't get me wrong, Beatty is a good player but I would SO much rather save that schollie for a grad transfer big. 1 year big vs 4 year guard, I'll take the 1 year with our roster makeup.

I can see the arguments for him starting, just saying that having 2 seniors and 2 potential soph leaps in the offseason make it more unlikely than other places. I think you guys undervalue how good Cujo will be and Green as well

Idk what to think about this. Not really trusting the crystal ball on this particular recruitment. Have a gut feeling it could be a team like Georgetown because he'll start there right away and he just visited. Can't say the same for us, UK, or Kansas.
