At one point does it cost more to keep him then to buy him out, though? The fanbase is probably the most apathetic it’s ever been at this point. You keep him next year when fans can attend and it’s going to get ugly. Boos, people won’t go to games, lame duck coach status will kill recruiting. That will roll over for years to come and end up costing us more long-term than firing him now will. I just don’t get how others don’t recognize this?

As many others have said, Trey is number 1 and it isn’t even close. A second would be Race because he doesn’t ever really make bad plays. TJD would be third, but in his career so far he hasn’t come up with winning plays in the end. Had a chance last night and air balled. He needs to develop his post game and outside shot significantly. AF is WAY too loose with the ball and his passing is extremely suspect. Love his scoring game, but his passing needs a significant upgrade. Nobody else on the roster deserves a mention tbh and that’s concerning.

About the same. Our Defense is pretty good but we have zero shooters/creators on the roster. Lander can get there, possibly Leal? This will be the downfall of Archie, IMO. Guard recruiting has been subpar outside of Lander for this team and we have zero shooters coming in next year. You cannot be elite without really solid guards in today’s game. Can anyone look at this roster and say our ceiling is more than a fringe top 25 team? How about next year? I’ve wanted to like Archie so bad, but I’m trying to be realistic. His roster construction will be his downfall and ultimately he’ll be gone in a year or 2. No, this was not based on today’s game, but on patterns forming over the past 3 years. Hope I’m wrong

Really baffles me why we didn’t cast a wider net for recruiting. Don’t get me wrong, I’m happy with Duncomb and Lander, but we need a versatile forward so bad and we focused on 2 guys the entire time. Not good

Here’s the thing. Nobody knows but Trey and his mom and apparently he is not telling the staffs today according to Rabjohns. This is truly 50/50 and every prediction is just an educated guess at this point. I wouldn’t be surprised either way
