       Troy is fortunate to have such a great mom in his corner. As bad as I feel after a loss, I know it must be ten times as painful for the team and families. But, we shouldn't paint the entire IU fanbase by a few negative posters after a loss. Please keep in mind most of us are not saying negative things and putting our players down. Apparently negativity is a small part of the beast known as internet message boards; which is exactly why I don't read them after a loss. Keep supporting that youngun of yours ,and we'll keep supporting the team as a fanbase.   An avid IU Hoosier in Florida.

    As an IU alum and IU fan of many years I consider the team my guys. They represent all of us everytime they take the court. We rejoice with every win and feel pain with the losses. 

       Might I suggest you steer clear of the message boards after a regular season loss. It can get quite ugly and might be offensive to a parent. Don't put yourself through that. That said, it sure is fun to have them playing again.

       It's good to have "more Jesus" in you if you read after a loss. Nah, just kidding. BtownBanners is my absolute favorite place to get Hoosier bball info. And after a loss, I come here to mourn with others that take the losses as hard as I do.  

As a long time Hoosier fan, please let this be so. I am an IU grad, and I have followed them for many many years through good and bad times. One must know when you read these boards they can sometimes be filled with some angry posts, especially after a tough loss or season. Please don't take them personally. The Hoosier basketball family is a very passionate one, as there is nothing quite like Indiana basketball. We are proud Hoosiers who support our team. Welcome to the board Mom.

Didn't his father say he wasn't into partying, tattoos, and earrings? Sounds like a description of our team this past year.

          Yep, and then it sounds like his dang head spins on his shoulders when things don't go his way. I think he needs to "address some issues" without the rainbows and bible verses. Just an opinion from this disgusted alumni.

I love when he calls the games. He may critique, but I think he is usually spot on.We may not always like what he is saying, but this year the truth has hurt.

Unbridled joy, I don't quite get why people are so upset about it. It simply shows the passion the fans have for their team. And isn't that what it is all about?
