It may be considered bad form to link to the alleged remarks. This is why the moderators on this site and others that are well moderated prohibit personal attacks. -

No. Just don't. I do not like personally attacking anyone. This includes Woodson and Buckner and Knight. Maybe point out bad decisions, but why toss old players under the bus? Even if they are doing crappy jobs in our opinions, say that. Otherwise, it really is petty and seeking some sort of retribution. Oh well. MHO. -

Previously, I worked in the management of an international airport system. There are ways to drill into the information that you have provided. This plane is owned by the Royal Air Freight Company. It is flying out of a reliever airport in the Boston area. The specific jet is a 7 seat Cessna 550 Bravo Citation. A fine business jet. The Cessna 550 Citation Bravo is a light business jet that can seat up to seven passengers. It has a range of 2,187 miles and a cruise speed of 462 miles per hour. Speculating..this jet may be used by any paying passenger or passengers. By taking the N63RA tail number and searching for details of flights, one can see at least the last 7 flights. This plane gets around and does not seem to be flying just from Boston or just from anywhere in Indiana.. -

First off, it is not just any NBA team. 2ndly, the last I heard is from 4 years ago when it was alleged that Brad Stevens and his family loved Boston. The Midwest is just flyover country. Yeah, selling to recruits come to Indiana and get a top-notch education. Here where 2/3rd of our population think that anyone with a college education is elitist and show be shunned or shot. Since then, there are other rumors that that may have other factors...making Indiana look better. 3rd, who would want to work 24/7 coddling and teaching and selling to young adults that are spoiled and just want to get into the NBA or get their names out there on social media? And dealing with helicopter parents...yeah, no. Oh, forgot...just recruit Indiana kids...that want to play at Indiana....yeah, sure. Tey still exist and are athletic, smart, ballers? Compete against the new Purdue or Notre Dame or next door to MSU, UM, OSU and UK? Go for it. Very attractive. Success guaranteed. Unlimited NIL. Buy your way to competition. Well Cignetti does it very well. Comon. -

No. But we are. Oh, you meant rumors? Well, read Jerry's posts. Chris is keeping his powder dry and so is Josh. No serious-minded winning coach would ever let anyone know about going elsewhere during the active season. -
I knew that. Thanks. Well, we have an ex-NBA coach. Obviously not quite the same to compare a winner against a non-winner in different situations and levels of success. One would really have to vet BS to ascertain how he would recruit, staff, game, ... Is he really up to the all-consuming rigors of college-level coaching and fund raising? Especially after the NBA stint. A lot of us, including me, think that he would be a serious upgrade and most importantly a winner at this level. But, Dolson needs to make darn sure the next coach is a winner, is smart, and capable and willing. No more of this mailing in the effort. I just won't believe it until I see it.

Has BS actually coached a college program in the last 14 years?

General Coach Candidate News
Dave from Dayton replied to JaybobHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I cannot imagine that Dolson will announce a new separation agreement with Coach W before the women's game tonight. I also cannot imagine that Dolson will announce any such agreement before the end of the regular season. I would not complain if that happened, though. If it happened before the Michigan game, and if Dusty May has given the nod....which I don't think will happen...it would be extremely bad form for both schools to announce Dusty May as the chosen one....before the Michigan game. Somehow, I can kind of see that happening./s Back to a semblance of reality...two things really give me hope...1. the Cignetti hire sure sets the standard/template for hiring a head coach at IU. 2. Woody is toast. I hope IU wins out. If it happens, it would be because Coach Woodson was thunderstruck and changed a lot relative to the coaching and game planning and starting five and substitutions and...yeah, right. After 4 years of not doing it he has 10 epiphanies? Dolson had his shorts jerked by whomever overruled his choice last time. It ain't gonna happen again. -

I have not had too many laughs since the year 2000 relative to IU basketball. Although Priller helped some. A few good wins and other stuff... cringeworthy. -

Personally, I am not in favor of Beard. I sport a mustache. (Is Woodson still coach? Oh. That is tough. Is he going to be pushed out? Yes. That is also tough. The team will then be well coached and win? Yes. They will miraculously get over the hump. Not tough to figure all this out. Except vetting and selecting a coach that is a winner is a process... Dolson did it with the excellent FB coach who is a winner. Because Cignetti is experienced, knowledgeable, a leader, a winner, and tough.) -
Just watched A Real Pain. Really a fine movie and I really thought it was well done. If you like travel movies and drama...watch it. Acting is great. And the Hoosier kitschy happening is not small. It appears throughout. The overall theme is about the human struggle and discomfort about where we are.

Listening tonight to some of their music. They have a really interesting album dated 2020. Nuff said. Thanks for the links and the post. Music is powerful and good quality. And fresh. But I am definitely not the best judge of that kind of thang. Let's see if she who must be obeyed has any comments/thoughts that I can ignore.
