Henderson played the 5 out of necessity, but he was dominant. Bobby's motion offense was pass first then again until someone got the best open look. His players fit the system; isolation plays were only used sparingly like I Thomas in the 81 champ game against NC. Knight did adapt to who he played though. He ran with and beat UNLV in 87 when others thought he would be crazy to do so. He also turned Thomas loose in 81 after saddling him most of his career. Knight could game plan better than any. His final four record speaks for itself.
