  1. Now we're looking tired. Takes 40, guys!
  2. Maybe best half of the year for JBJ. Thought RoJo plated some great D. Saw him harassing a lot and almost a few steals. The key is the D
  3. Holt with some well-deserved praise
  4. It's like they're playing for an NCAA berth...oh, wait...

2015 Big Ten Tournament Game Thread

I remember him taking 25-30 ft 3-pointers several times. He actually make a few but wow, talk about bad shots.

    Tom Crean Contract buyout page?

I can see these people with torches, pitchforks, and wallets in hand to kill the "monster"
  13. My son will be a part of the 2015 freshmen class (I'm one of the older dudes here) and we attended the Red Carpet Day today. During the panel discussion and other activities, three things seemed to continually resurface as a favorite thing or a selling point of IU. 1. Academics 2. Beautiful/intimate campus 3. The basketball team Several times, the basketball team was mentioned as one of the best things and the pride and passion towards it and IU. Heck, they're still telling the story of the 87 championship victory and the missing fish from Showalter Fountain during the campus tour! I can only think of a handful of universities that could sell one of the sports programs as a reason to attend their school. So to those saying IU basketball is no longer relevant, I saw today that they're wrong. It matters, to the old generations and the new. It's woven into the fabric of the university's culture. Eventually, this thing gets turned around and that's why. Sorry if this is totally cheesy. Btw, my son is super stoked for the fall semester. I'm excited for him too.

    Tournament Bids

I was really hoping UE would get an NIT bid but losing their last two to Illinois St hurt

Can someone explain what in the world the Eagles and Rams were hoping to accomplish by trading their QBs with each other?

    Potential fallout from coaching change

So Crean stays and then one Sweet 16 later after Bryant is gone, we're back to a bubble team or NIT. The good season or two is tempting but I'd rather be a constant, strong NCAA tournament team every year.

    Indianapolis Colts Off-Season Thread

Yep, a coworker and I were talking about this earlier.  Colts need work on the O line and D.  Put your free agency and draft work there.

    Indianapolis Colts Off-Season Thread

I'm pretty excited about the Gore signing.  Hard north-south runner, works hard.  Not a knock on Johnson but why let Wayne go to bring in a similar player.  I guess Johnson is a bit more physical but still.  Bring in a younger WR and Luck will get him the ball.

    IU Basketball is IU culture

Agree with this too and IU will be an excellent choice for his future, basketball program or not.  I still found it interesting how it's still embedded into the culture.  Nothing wrong with that either.
