Hoo Hoo Hoo Hoosiers!!!  

As much as I hate seeing the kids get suspended (they need to learn their lesson and support the suspension)... I think it likely did the team some good.  Some of the freshmen HAD to come in and play big roles.  They took care of business. I think that will make the bench deeper and more reliable in the long run.   Still wish we had a couple big bangers in the post.

Dave Aranda... UW Badgers Defensive Coordinator!!!  These guys are young and they are NASTY.  He has them playing VERY WELL.  He will be the next Badger assistant to get a HC job.   While I like Wilson's offense,  and the defense is improving but I'm not sure he's getting the studs we need to make inroads to the next level.  I do feel that he will get a pass this year from the Sudfeld injury.  But the fact that he's just lost 2 very good players (one at a position of need) to Big Ten opponents is disturbing.  If we are going to get better we need to be deeper at the QB position and need to steal a few guys that are expected to be going to better programs.

I hope you are right, 41!!!  He's the architect of a basement dweller defense... anything would be an improvement...

How are there no rumblings with regards to Mallory...  wouldn't it seem obvious that he'd be asked to step down or be fired.   A mediocre defense might have gotten us a Rose Bowl this year... ya, I'm dreaming BUT it could happen...
