UNC had wide open threes all night long. Crean will never get us a ncaa championship. BIG regular season championships, but nothing else. I hope the fan base isn't satisfied with that. Thanks for finding those articles. Very interesting and informative reads. I will apologize for saying Coach K covered up sexual assulat. That was certainly not a good choice in wording and I will immediately edit my previous comments to reflect that. Coach K was certainly aware that there were accusations being made by two female students that Rasheed had raped them and does not appear to have pursued an investigation into the allegations (well, at least not a formal one, which, as you mentioned, is because they never filed a formal complaint. In October 2013, a female student said in a large group session at the student-led diversity retreat Common Ground that Sulaimon had sexually assaulted her, three retreat participants said. At the following semester’s Common Ground retreat beginning in February 2014, a second female student said she had been sexually assaulted by Sulaimon, according to four retreat participants. Senior Lincoln Wensley, a former secretary in the Duke basketball office and current intern for the Office of News and Communications, became aware of the allegations Jan. 21, 2015 when he heard a fellow intern mentioning what she called "the next big Duke scandal." “And that Coach K had known and knew that Rasheed had these rumors swirling about him and that Kevin White had also known.” —Lincoln Wensley Wensley followed up with the intern, who said she was best friends with a female student who alleged she had been sexually assaulted by Sulaimon. “We started texting that Wednesday night,” Wensley said. “She informed me that one of her friends had been raped by Rasheed Sulaimon…. [She] was very upset and had known for some time about this because of the Common Ground retreat. She expressed an interest in taking action herself, but obviously [was] scared because of the power the men’s basketball team possesses on this campus.” The anonymous affiliate reiterated Plizga's statement that there were other factors that contributed to Sulaimon's dismissal. “It should have been a long time ago. [Krzyzewski’s] never [dismissed a player] before,” the anonymous affiliate said. “I don’t think he knew where the line was. I think he really didn’t want to do it. It’s pretty incomprehensible.”

I searched online for Duke's investigation and have been unable to find it. And that's part of my issue with the entire situation. Well, I was being called out for my "hate" of him being over the top. I'm just trying to show why I strongly dislike him. There's valid reasons to dislike Coach K. I don't think it's any different than wanting to see Calipari and Kentucky fail. Granted, Kentucky's issues (as a whole) go back to Rupp.

I never said hate anywhere (strongly dislike, yes). And honestly, that took about ten minutes to put together. And I love how you judge me saying I hate plural "people" and "programs" when I only mention one person and program (Coach K, Duke). It's important that people know the truth of who Coach K is. He's not a saint no matter what he tries to portray to the public. Edit: I don't hate Duke or the players that go to Duke. I dislike Coach K. Who he is, and what he's done, are why I root for them to lose.

I've strongly disliked Coach K since the 1992 final four when he worked the refs HARD and stole that game from us. Seriously, it's considered one of the most lop sided refed games in NCAA history. Gave him at least one title there. Then, you have last years game against Wisconsin. That game was ATROCIOUS as well. Seriously, there was a span where I think Wisconsin was called for like 8 fouls in a row that single handily got Duke back in the game. And that's not even including the ball that CLEARLY went out of bounds on Duke, was given back to Duke, and then they hit a three to go up by like 5. At minimum, two titles that should have never been. Duke players are also coached to flop. I really want to advance. Sweet 16 isn't enough. Watching all these teams having to go home...still feels way too early for IU to be done.

I honestly believe Layman is Maryland's best player. I could be crazy though.

Also, refs are letting them play a bit more underneath. I hope they continue to let than happen, game moves so much faster.

But yea, would rather face Maryland than Kansas in championship.

Shot .350 from 3 pt land and under .400 from the field in general.  Won't judge too much though. Max was about a .300 3 pt shooter before coming to IU.  This year he was .441.     If Austin can bring his shooting up a bit, could be a useful player for helping spread the floor. Do we know what type of defender he is?  

Regarding Holt.  Wasn't it HMP's beer and he just took the fall (still not sure why he'd do that though).  At least, that's what I thought the rumor was at the time of the incident.  

One thing I still don't understand is, why in the world was Yogi in-bounding the ball?  I mean, our All American, 80%+, Senior PG is in-bounding the ball to lesser FT shooters (under 70%).  That's why Kentucky got back in the game, we made  like 2-4 or 3-6 free throws to let them back in.  Granted TB ended up being clutch.  But could you imagine if he had missed one of those and Kentucky tied the game and won in OT?  This place would have been lost it.

I need to watch a replay.  At the time, looked like Wiscy was pre-emptively falling down.  Just used to bogus calls with Wisconsin.  They know how to work the refs.  

Agreed, no excuses.  Terrible to blow that type of lead with very little time left.  They should have won regardless.  Doesn't change the fact that losing their senior center, who was their main inbounder, helped contribute to that comeback by A&M. 

Feel terrible for UNI.  Probably the better team.  That one center doesn't get his knee injured, they probably win.  But man...crazy ending

How in the world did Wiscy beat Xavier???  That charging foul was bogus though.  I know it doesn't come down to that, but it was a BS call.
