I'm not sure. Philadelphia has been playing out of their mind. I could see them taking Cleveland down. So many 3 point shooters on Philly, could be a match-up nightmare for Cleveland. Won't matter though. Whoever comes out of the West, whether it's Houston or Golden State will destroy the East. And then LeBron will jump to another ready-made winner. Create a bunch of drama and discord. Players will leave. But that will be his last go around. He'll be too old to do it again.

Nah, James would have choked. A lot less stressful to take a shot when you're tied than when you're down.

Pacers looking much better with Oladipo out of the game.
-
Oladipo lost the game. I strongly dislike Cleveland, but I think that was a clear foul on Stephenson. I mean, he legit pulled Green down to the ground. Pacers had a chance, but for some reason, stopped the ball movement. Oladipo...man...not sure what he was thinking with some of those shots.

VO getting his teammates open looks...they need to start hitting them though.

OG is going to be great. You can see his timing and vision is ahead of most people on the court...and he's only a rookie. Once he gets a dribble drive game he'll be an All Star. Only downside is with Lowry and DeRozan on the court, he won't get as much of an opportunity to develop that aspect of his game.

Why in the heck did FSU not foul with 11 seconds left? UM missing all sorts of free throws and you don't foul??? -

I must have missed that. Could you fill me in on what happened? -
I get what you're saying Demo, but I still feel as if the writing was unnecessarily sloppy. Reddit user Drfunks summed it up pretty nicely I think (note, what follows below is what Drfunks wrote, and I agree 100% with what is written, except maybe the hat thing which was probably done to differentiate the characters). Mistakes that have NOTHING to do with the books but could have been avoided by I don't know having more writers who can point out the inconsistencies? Let's look at ep 6.: Why is Gendry the only one wearing a hat? Their mission is to wander around aimlessly in the open wild for an unknown amount of time but can't be bothered to cover the most important part of their body to prevent heat loss? For a show devoted to the minute details, this was stupid plain and simple. Speaking of Gendry, if the whole point of bringing him up was to have him go back to Eastwatch why not bring some horses? you know to pack supplies and ****. Please don't give me this horseshit excuse they wouldn't survive up north when old Mormont did precisely did then they rode north from the wall. This way we wouldn't have the silly montage of Gendry running a 20K marathon in freezing temperature but rather have a more plausible answer with the horse. Which ironically would drastically reduce the rescue time for Eastwatch to do something. Horse vs running = shaving a lot of hours. Speaking of shaving hours, sitting around the frozen lake for 18+hours picking their nose only to have the hound toss rocks for shits and giggles IS poor writing. Having Bran ex Machina send a raven WHILE Jon just arrived at Eastwatch to Dany would have given her ample time to arrive there with her dragons without the time jump. Having the NK shown to have some prescient abilities like Bran to predict the Dragon arriving would also explain how he was ready to take a Dragon pet with the chains. On second thought having the Dragon land at the side of a mountain would mean no chains required. Sansa and Arya weren't play acting in their feud. Arya went almost full retard on her hypocrisy. Seriously blaming Sansa for not "dying like a good Stark girl" instead of enduring the Lannisters? It's clear the writers forgot all the time Arya spend in Harrenhall being Tywin's little *****, I mean even Jaqen pointed out how she was so full of it. So the Finale is meant to suggest that Bran explained to his two sisters exactly who was to blame and all the chain of events that led to that point. Now if people still wanna persist that Arya was "in" on it then all they needed to do was having another shot of LF creeping in the shadows while Arya was "feuding" with Sansa. Nope we get none of that. LF's "WTF" face and subsequent castration was pretty epic, the dialogue was crispy but that doesn't mean the writing that led us to that epic scene wasn't shoddy. It was terrible. Smart script writing could have avoided 99% of all the stupid stuff we witnessed this season. GoT was never a show about "turning your brain off and enjoying the show", this is why the backslash was so severe when the quality dipped for no good reason. Hopefully D&D takes this criticism to heart and either hire more writers or delegate more to proven writers. Last thing we need is for them to take on the full writing duties and spend 5% of their time writing due to them being busy doing 92834928 other things to keep the show going. They got a year and a half before it airs, let's hope they don't **** up the landing.

Anyone else feel like the writing has dropped off a cliff? Episode 6 was really sloppy, and then, the wall falling in episode 7 just seemed like a throw in. I mean, that's what GoT has been amping up to for 7 seasons, and all we get is 90 seconds of an ice dragon "burning" down the wall.... I mean, basically, the writing says, "hey, if they'd just stayed behind the wall everything would be fine. No ice dragon, then wall doesn't fall." Really, it just seems like the writers forced storylines to reach "dragon takes down wall." I'm curious to see what direction Martin goes with the books.

I personally feel like Bran is the most powerful person in the books/show. Granted, his storyline has been boring thus far, but I think he will be the one to tie everything together. We know he can effect the past...and personally, I think he was "Bran" the builder, the three eyed raven, AND his current self. Hell, maybe he's just created a continuous loop and keeps re-setting it until they can defeat the others (whitewalkers). There are some fantastic theories out there. https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2016/05/the-game-of-thrones-theory-to-end-all-game-of-thro.html And if anyone wants a huge spoiler....here's the full plot summaries of 4, 5,6,7 of this season. Can't wait... I wouldn't recommend reading...but if you absolutely want to know what will happen: https://www.reddit.com/r/freefolk/comments/57w3yw/my_awayforthelads_season_7_spoiler_timeline/

Love that idea of Williams guarding Durant. Man...that would have been interesting.
-
There's only so much energy a person can expend. Sure he could try and drive every possession, but at some point, you get exhausted. Media seems to forget that.
-
Refs are trying damn hard to make it 6.
-
My goodness, cavs should just drive every possession, no matter what they get a foul call.

LeBron pulling a Draymond from last finals: http://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/look-lebron-james-gives-iguodala-the-draymond-treatment-with-kick-to-groin/

Understood. My point was that, if he played in Game 5, I have little doubt that Golden State would have won. They had all the momentum and would have closed out the series. It's crazy to think how different the league might have been right now if he hadn't done that kick. Golden State wins game 5. Durant doesn't go to GS (he said he went because GS lost). LeBron probably forces a trade of Kevin Love and the Cleveland roster is changed dramatically. One little kick...superstars move.

Draymond being an idiot and getting suspended won the Cavs that series. Over in five if he's not an idiot. Cavs may have blown up the team if that had occurred

Didn't he turn us down during our last coaching search? Although, I thought part of him turning us down was because his dream job was Wisconsin (and that no longer seems to be happening), and that we fired his sister or something like that.
