“Mike Drop” Schumann on the Hoosier Hysterics
Josh replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Maybe. Probably, even. I just hate making points on total conjecture. It leads my mind to look for the truth. I hadn't really concerned myself with this aspect until now but now I have to know lol. Otherwise it was well written. IU had to get their side out after the dorks blasted their side out there. It seems that this is their side -
“Mike Drop” Schumann on the Hoosier Hysterics
Josh replied to Stuhoo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I feel like there was a lot of conjecture about how much money IU passed on by ditching the dorks. How much was it? Was it insignificant? The article implied that it was, but admitted it had no facts behind that guess. I'm curious how much we threw away. Beyond that it was well written I suppose -
Yeah but a Fire Mike Woodson thread gets more responses than a Cancel Hoosier Hysterics thread, so fuel the fire that burns hottest. Damn you Woody! You must go *Our purchased players have to stay at this point, right? Fire him.

Yes, sinking a birdie from 1 yard is more impressive than sinking one from 114 yards. Yeesh, somebody tell this guy how golf works
-
I holed a birdie from 114 yards today. Suck a fart @HoosierAloha

We're down to the final two teams, the Florida Panthers and the Edmonton Oilers. For the 5th straight year a team from Florida is in the finals. The state owns the sport. A Canadian team hasn't won the Stanley Cup in more than 3 decades and f*** em, no reason to end that streak now. https://www.espn.com/nhl/story/_/id/40261778/nhl-playoffs-2024-stanley-cup-final-panthers-oilers-matchups-players-goalies-schedule

The IndyCar season officially starts today! First race of the year is at 12:30 on ABC. We have no basketball to watch...so this is what my tv will be on. I only follow this race and the Indy 500, but I'm hoping some of the posters who follow the series can help keep us updated here. These cars are so much louder now than in the previous couple years, was there a big change in the offseason? The last two years I couldn't hear them from my house, today they're so loud I have to crank up the tv with my windows open. Pole position today belongs to Will Power who broke the track record in qualifications.

I gotta say, it's pretty fun watching all these Hondas blow up
-
Remember when the boards along the court became advertising? Oh boy the angry chatter. Remember the Big Ten logo getting added below the free throw line? The anger out of the anti-change crowd was fervent. Man if change angers people so much they should move to a uni bomber cabin and yell at the wind
-
"Back in my day" people who get angry with change are the worst.

We're down to a Final Four to win the Stanley Cup. If you don't have a favorite team here and need to know who to root for/against, I'll help you. Never root for Canada.
-
That's what your dad said too. Fire Woody

Or being the best at losing to the worst teams in the Big Ten. He's the best at that

I'm just saying that your grandma could have a 48 point game once

It feels like you're the only one who thinks that. Watching Sportscenter, PTI, all sports shows (way outside of the Indiana market) everybody seems to be blasting the refs for the end of that game. This is today's nba.
-
I didn't watch a minute of the game, but I looked at the score on my phone every 15 minutes or so as I was watching hockey. In a game the Pacers seemed to be leading at every score update, I knew the refs would make sure New York won. Then I saw the highlights when it was over. If anybody is surprised that the reffing went the way it did favoring the large market team then you don't follow the NBA. It is clearly the worst reffing in sports to script games towards big market teams. Completely unsurprising outcome. It's why I can't watch. The NBA is rigged.

He can only speak to his experience, not everywhere. So shouldn't you just think that your experience is only at your own private daycare? You seem to be projecting while disallowing him to do so
-
Both sides think they're being apolitical and think the other is trying to be activist. As a guy who sits in the middle I think you're both Loony Tunes. I just see massive discontent with a person and realize it's toxic. Then the far extremes on both sides cry victim and persecution. It's kind of comical to me
-
If 25% of employees want a leader gone and are willing to go on record saying so...that's a lot! Maybe you work in a toxic workplace where that number is ok, but that is not normal.
-
It's pretty telling that they don't have her back. Perhaps she is awful? Or....people who don't know the details can just blindly support her because of her political beliefs or gender, then cry victim like some are doing. People love to play victim as though they're being persecuted because of shaky perceptions.
-
Stanley Cup playoffs start tomorrow! There is at least one game every day for the next two weeks. It's so beautiful
-
Agreed. Or you can be lazy and play victim politics lol. I hate that people do that.

For those of us that work for a living instead of living on the board, could somebody please use full names so I can look them up? Rice? Carlysle? Hickman? Who are these dudes we keep talking about?
