    Favorite/Most Memorable IU BBALL Moments

That's not all that happened that night.  Were all the fish finally found?   Last game I saw live was 12/8/07 as we chanted "Jordan's Better" at the Jordan Crawford/Jamal Crawford matchup and IU won in a blowout.  Great night.   Watching IU pickup games in offseason practices in Assembly Hall as the only other person in the Hall not on the team....moments of my life.     On TV...Smart Shot, Wat Shot.

    Rod Wilmont

Roderick Wilmont is another former Big Ten player who played at the prestigious University of Indiana.   Two things.   They didn't say the prestigious Purdoo for Byrd.  Wonder why?   I hate it when some uninformed nincompoop says University of Indiana.   Third thing....go Hot Rod!

(2014) PF Emmit Holt to IU

I read it differently.  It seemed that they really liked him, their only concern was his height.  I think that 7'3" wingspan went undetected by them.
  4. He was a likable guy...except when he blamed the fanbase for the team's struggles.  Since then I've had no respect for him.  If I was at the game I wouldn't boo because that's lowlife, but I certainly wouldn't applaud.
  5. "Small seating capacity"?  What a joke.
  6. Truth.  I believe he could have taken that 2002 team into a Final Four at least and would have outcoached Gary Williams if he had the chance.
  7. 1993 did too.  Should have won it too if not for the Henderson injury.  That's the best IU team I've ever seen live.   Knight also thought that 2002 team could have won it all with the addition of Kei Madison.  When Knight was fired Madison signed elsewhere.  Knight loved that team and thought he had a chance to win it all with them.

What?  He's the oversign machine.  He knows he can get multiple recruits for next year's class.  It's his MO

    "Tradition" for IUMBB

Is it only the white ones?

    Ice Bucket Challenge!?!?

I've already gotten it.  You need my challenge or do I just need to get Hovadipo twice?
  11.     Probably true, but we would have avoided the whole Kelvin Sampson bomb that landed on the program, so we'd at least be in better shape than we are now
  12. I can honestly say that I thought an airball was a turnover.  There was no malicious intent to my question, nor the questions and answers after that.  I never intended to cause any problems.  I have no idea how anybody could perceive anything else.  Please forgive me if my innocent inquiries upset anybody here.   This is my last post on it.
  13.   What in the world is going on here?  Why the anger/name calling?
  14.   Thanks guys for the conversation, explaining the rule.  I agree with others, it's great to be a part of Hoosier nation where we can discuss the minutiae of the rulebook.     However, I apparently angered somebody who calls himself the "king".  I hang my head low, how can anybody compete with a king?  Many apologies sir, will you please let me know any time I type something that offends your eminence.

    Purdue doing great work

      This explains so much.   :sarcastichand:
  16. ...that can have the exact same result
  17. I think when you throw the ball out of bounds without it touching anything else, it should be a turnover.
  18. I'm sorry, I just can't wrap my head around this.  A turnover is never intended.  If a player makes a pass to another player who cuts suddenly, the ball goes out of bounds as a turnover.  The player's intent was to make a pass, but due to an error, it went out of bounds.  Same with a poor shot.  This makes no sense to me.  If an error causes you to throw the ball out of bounds, it should be counted as a turnover imo.
  19. How is it not the same as just throwing the ball out of bounds?
  20.   I'm not complaining at all....if you look back in this thread you can see I've been a fan of his addition since it happened....but isn't an airball that lands out of bounds a turnover?

Please keep bringing what you bring.  Please also don't let the words of some on here bring you down.  "We" love having you here and appreciate what you bring.  :)

    Indiana vs. Ottawa Game Thread

A couple different "we"'s here.  I love your passion hothooseirsmom5.  You bring what nobody else can.  You're right, nobody on here is a "we" in the sense that Troy is.   There's also a fanbase "we" that has been in the Hoosier family since birth.  We aren't blessed with the talent or size to compete for "our" team, but we have the passion.   Obviously the fanbase "we" will never be able to be the team "we".  But we're both "we".     Does that make any sense?
