IU Receives Vote for AP Top 25

When is the last time IU was ranked?

Meh, is the SEC really that good?
  3. The last two games...as you claim his best two...   21 carries for 79 yards, a 3.38 ypc average.  No touchdowns, two fumbles.   14 carries for 57 yards, a 4.07 ypc average.  No touchdowns, two dropped passes.   That's good?  Wow.
  4. You misread what I said.  I agree, Brown was terrible until last year.  Last year he ran effectively (for the first time as a Colt) while Richardson did not.  What was the difference?   This year Bradshaw runs effectively while Richardson does not.   If we're giving Richardson the excuse of a poor line, why could Brown and Bradshaw run well behind it?   Richardson played badly last week.  Two fumbles is bad.  Terrible in fact.   He played poorly this week, dropping easy passes and rushing for a poor average.  What does he do well?  He's a bad player.
  5. It's not just that everybody else is outplaying him, it's that he's playing poorly.  Comparing him to anybody....he's going to lose.  Just looking at his stats....it's terrible.  So I ask again....what does he do well?
  6. What makes you think he's a good player?   Andrew Luck outrushed him again today.  So did Bradshaw.  By a lot.  Richardson gets tackled by the first hit every time.  Not the sign of a good rb.   He also misses easy passes (so did Fleener...I know).  How does Luck and Bradshaw (and Brown last year) run effectively behind this offensive line, but Richardson does not?  He's not fast, can't outrun the defense.  He's not powerful, can't get past the first tackler.  He's not a good receiver, drops bunnies.  I ask you honestly....what does he do well??
  7. This just in...Trent Richardson still sucks
  8.   Purdue is ugly....but Alcorn State is surrounded in razor wire.  It looks and feels like a prison.  Seriously the worst place I've ever been.

    #IUMS @ Rutgers

Thanks for the link to the stream....I turned it on and one second later they scored.  I'm good luck!
  10. Has nobody been to Mississippi?  Worst place I've ever been, and unfortunately I spent a lot of time in a lot of towns there.  Alcorn State is the most depressing place in the world.

That Oregon win was 10 years ago??  Wow it doesn't seem that long...

Was Juwan Morgan at the game?  Just wondering since it was near his hometown

Nice!  Remember when we went out to Oregon and won?  This is awesome like that.
  14. Arrogant SEC fans??  Say it ain't so
  15. Nah, he'd fumble the keyboard too many times to finish it.   How is it Donald Brown (last year) and Ahmad Bradshaw can run behind the line but Trent can't?
  16. Well, one of these three things needs to happen   cut Richardson and eat the salary cut Pep and hire anybody who doesn't use Richardson twice at the end of the game get a pass rush
  17. We need a pass rush!!!!  If we don't get one, we will go 8-8 at best.
  18. Colts keep winning their division.  Hoosiers football is embarrassingly consistently bad.
  19. Trent Richardson is the worst player I've ever seen.  Why give it to him twice in a row at the end of the game?   I agree.  Pep's seat just got roaring hot.  Horrendous playcalling.

Let's not get carried away here.  We're not good again this year, but Purdue is one of the worst teams in the nation again.

  22. Or he's one heck of a PR guy.  Regardless, win this for Hep!!

    AJ to HOF

...and to stay on topic...thank you AJ for being the definition of a Hoosier basketball player.   AJ Guyton was a four-year starter and appeared in every game while at Indiana. When he left, Guyton was Indiana's all-time leader in three-point baskets (283) and fourth in all-time scoring (2,100).[1] He also ranked eighth in all-time Indiana assists (403) and tenth in steals (128). Guyton's first year saw him become only the second Hoosier freshman to collect 400 points, 100 steals and 100 assists; the other to pull that off is Isiah Thomas.  Guyton made the All-Big Ten Team his sophomore year and the Playboy pre-season All-American Team his last two seasons   wikipedia AJ Guyton   AJ winning the game for us against #10 Temple:   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ei1KKilBURU

AJ Guyton is already one of my most favorite Hoosiers ever....imagine if he got Coach Knight to show up at IU again.  Legend status.
  25.   After last season I calculated it at 1.4:1, Espn must have rounded up.  Imo Yogi is a great 2 guard, but until he fixes his a:to problem, he's not a good point guard.
