  1.   Actually it is the Indiana way.  Has been for the better part of a decade now.  Keep up old man!  :)
  2. My favorite part:   Purdue has fewer conference championships across all sports (71) than Penn State, who has been in the conference far less time. We're even two short of the number of total conference championships won by the University of Chicago, which has not competed in the Big Ten in almost 70 years.   This article is gold.
  3. Coming into the season, we had a logjam at wide receiver.  My friends and I talked about how many would make the roster.  Then two of them got themselves booted from the team.   See ya Rogers and Brazill.  Both had great chances to make the team and they threw it away.
  4. Two wins against division opponents.  The season is a quarter over already!  I like where we stand.  We might not have a great record this year but as long as we win our division we host a playoff game.   BIG game against Baltimore next weekend.  Will  be a very telling game.
  5. The leg injury doesn't seem like a big deal, we see that every game.  Concussion?  That's a buzz word.  You can't do that.   I hope Darrell Hazell doesn't do anything stupid, I want him to stay at Purdoo forever.

    (2016) C Thon Maker

I'd consider every option too.  I usually do.   I still hope he chooses IU
  7.       Are you guys too young to remember Clarence Verdin?  He was a 2X ProBowl return man for the Colts who always celebrated his touchdowns with "The Verdance".  Apparently there's no video of The Verdance as a Colt, but I found one during his time in the USFL   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ds15aLbmMgI   Or how about "Big Play" Ray Buchanan who was All Pro returner for the Colts in 1994?     Both were GREAT return men.
  8. So the absolute best we've seen out of Trent Richardson is a game where he was an average runner (compared to league rush/carry average) and dropped two easy passes.   Yuck.   We'll have to disagree here.     Go Colts, beat the Titans!

IU Receives Vote for AP Top 25

On October 6, 2001, Indiana went to Wisconsin and destroyed the Badgers 63-32.  Antwaan Randle El was so dominant that most every report called Wisconsin's stadium Camp Randle El for the rest of the year.   It was sweet.
  10. What does Trent do well?   He doesn't outrun anybody.   He doesn't run  through anybody.   What does Trent do well?
  11. Yes I was talking averages.   I keep seeing excuses for Richardson, but what I don't see is a list of what he does well.  What does he do well??
  12. Today, in his "best game as a Colt", he dropped two easy catches.  Awesome.   Ok, so his running style doesn't lead to success behind this line as you claim.  Why keep him in then?  What is his style?  He's not fast, he can't break any tackles, he can't push people over....again I ask...as you can't seem to answer....what does he do well??

IU Receives Vote for AP Top 25

When is the last time IU was ranked?

Meh, is the SEC really that good?
  15. The last two games...as you claim his best two...   21 carries for 79 yards, a 3.38 ypc average.  No touchdowns, two fumbles.   14 carries for 57 yards, a 4.07 ypc average.  No touchdowns, two dropped passes.   That's good?  Wow.
  16. You misread what I said.  I agree, Brown was terrible until last year.  Last year he ran effectively (for the first time as a Colt) while Richardson did not.  What was the difference?   This year Bradshaw runs effectively while Richardson does not.   If we're giving Richardson the excuse of a poor line, why could Brown and Bradshaw run well behind it?   Richardson played badly last week.  Two fumbles is bad.  Terrible in fact.   He played poorly this week, dropping easy passes and rushing for a poor average.  What does he do well?  He's a bad player.
  17. It's not just that everybody else is outplaying him, it's that he's playing poorly.  Comparing him to anybody....he's going to lose.  Just looking at his stats....it's terrible.  So I ask again....what does he do well?
  18. What makes you think he's a good player?   Andrew Luck outrushed him again today.  So did Bradshaw.  By a lot.  Richardson gets tackled by the first hit every time.  Not the sign of a good rb.   He also misses easy passes (so did Fleener...I know).  How does Luck and Bradshaw (and Brown last year) run effectively behind this offensive line, but Richardson does not?  He's not fast, can't outrun the defense.  He's not powerful, can't get past the first tackler.  He's not a good receiver, drops bunnies.  I ask you honestly....what does he do well??
  19. This just in...Trent Richardson still sucks
  20.   Purdue is ugly....but Alcorn State is surrounded in razor wire.  It looks and feels like a prison.  Seriously the worst place I've ever been.

Thanks for the link to the stream....I turned it on and one second later they scored.  I'm good luck!
  22. Has nobody been to Mississippi?  Worst place I've ever been, and unfortunately I spent a lot of time in a lot of towns there.  Alcorn State is the most depressing place in the world.

Nice!  Remember when we went out to Oregon and won?  This is awesome like that.
