We missed too many shots.  Waaaay too many.  No production off the bench either.  Yuck.   Matt Painter finished dead last in the Big Ten the last two years in a row.  He swept us this year.

  Agreed, I hate programs because of their fans, not the team on the court.  I know a lot of Purdoo fans and Kentucky fans, so those are the ones I hate the most.     I live in Florida and I had somebody tell me once that they "went to a school called Purdue".  I told them I've never heard of it  :biggrin:

This is a good question since it seems the original post is so vague.   Student Athletes should have the most, the rest of the student body should be equal to the alumni.

  Just like last year's champions.   I'm not predicting or even expecting it.  But to completely dismiss a possible tournament run is too close minded for me.

  Every year players change.  Matchup change.  Tournament upsets happen.  Crean's changed coaching philosophies.   The only thing that doesn't ever change is your broken record postings.  Not everybody is as jaded and pessimistic as you.  It can happen

I agree with everything you say except the "really stupid argument" part.  What I said did weigh on Calipari's ego imo.

This is 100% right.  Calipari refused to renew the contract, Crean wanted to.  And we would have whooped them at Rupp that year too.   Crean has just done a worse job of filling our schedule.     Screw UK, I'm not kissing their ass.  We should have kicked it instead if Cal wasn't scared.
