How do you know Bryant's motivations?
-
Really, Je'Nay was there between them? Wow. Respect. Edit: come to think of it, isn't Je'Nay the new Kansas strength coach....another school Thon is considering? Strange.

Come be an Indiana savior. Lead a fresh team with a new coach into Hoosier history!

Uh....less coaching out of Tom please.

No excitement out of them at all from the looks on tv. No clapping at all? Nice hi viz orange lol I can't find Bryant, where is he? Enjoying it?

My sources say there is no secret news. An undecided AD and some undecided recruits. Today's results will be HUGE.

Potential coaching change suggestions
Josh replied to Bryan Medema's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
This doesn't make any sense. Walk with me back in time to when Sampson was fired. The IU program had players getting kicked off the team and leaving a sinking ship. They returned zero scholarship players. There were NCAA sanctions coming down including fewer scholarships and no off campus recruiting. IU basketball was a dumpster fire, nobody was going to walk into that mess. Tom Crean was coaching in the best conference at the time, the deep Big East. He had Final Four experience. He had the support of his fanbase and he was a national name. It was a shocker nationwide that he would leave that to go to the mess at IU. Why did he do it? Because IU is an elite landing spot, even with the disaster at the time. Does any of this ring a bell? -
No

Who hired Crean? Greenspan?

Absolute pass on Shaka. He had one great run to a Final Four and nothing else. Unless I'm missing something? -
I don't want Suh. He'll eat up a ton of cap space, then miss games during to suspensions.

I think that Bob Knight has such a HUGE footprint on Indiana basketball...somebody within the University needs to talk to him. Show him respect here. Not that we need to obey him by any means, just reach out to him. -

It could only help repair a toxic relationship...IU should reach out to Bob Knight. I'm sure he has no interest but he'd have a recommendation. -
Wonderful. If we have to play one of the top 4 seeds, I want it to be Maryland. It starts win a win on Crean's senior night. (you think he makes a speech at the end?)

Potential fallout from coaching change

I don't care who leaves/stays. Crean needs to go. Rip that bandaid off. -

There are three that I'd be excited about. Stevens, Donovan, Marshall. I really don't think the first two leave their current situations though. Regardless, a change needs to be made. I'd take a player/coach over Crean at this point. Edit: you guys are right, I like Archie Miller too. -
Trading a 1st round pick for Trent Richardson was a big move. It just wound up being a terrible one. Now I wonder if they'll make a big move for a running back since it bit them before.
