It can only be one of two things, right? Either a UFO or a military aircraft. Aloha says you have military bases near you. My wife and I see really strange lights like these about once a year. We also live near an air force base, about 5 miles. Are these military planes? It makes sense. But why would they fly these knowing that we can see them and freak out? Then again, why would aliens visit near military bases when they know there are dangers of flying near heavy weaponry? It would be like a criminal robbing a bank next to the police station. There is other life in this universe without a doubt. Maybe even within the galaxy. Is this life intelligent enough to fly into our atmosphere? Maybe. My personal opinion? Most of these sightings are military aircraft. A few are not. Do you feel sick after seeing the lights? Aliens might have impregnated you.

Spieth is so good right now, I'd have to put my money on him. But I'll be cheering for this guy...

(2015) PF Kassoum Yakwe off the board
Josh replied to ccgeneral's topic in Indiana Basketball Recruiting Forum
Are we recruiting both Yakwe and De'ron Davis for the same position? Maybe if one pops for IU the other does not? -

Mike Davis was the coach. Don't pin a team's record on one kid. That's ridiculous -

Why is the US not a powerhouse in soccer? Is it because the players on the World Cup teams don't care to win as much as other countries? Is it because those players don't have the soccer iq of the players in other countries? I believe it's because our talent pool is diluted by other available (and more popular) sports that other countries don't have. What if our World Cup team had such talented athletes as Lebron James, Chris Paul, Richard Sherman, Mike Trout, Odell Beckham? What if they chose to play soccer instead of their respective sports? In America, our athletes play the sports that are popular in their area. In Indiana, it's basketball. In Florida, it's football. In Virginia, it's Lacrosse. In Maine, it's hockey. That doesn't mean that the basketball players in Indiana are better than the basketball players in Montana where rodeo is king. It just means that the talent pool in Indiana is deeper. An Indiana player doesn't have more desire to win than an Arizona player. That's a lazy stereotype. If a player has a passion to win, it doesn't matter where he's from. A competitor is a competitor. A 4 star player from Indiana is the same as a 4 star player from Oregon. There's just more to choose from in certain areas of the country. Naming players from other parts of the country as some sort of proof that Indiana players are better is specious reasoning at best. Maybe it's just pushing an agenda. Maybe it's a lack of understanding. Regardless, I certainly disagree that Indiana players somehow have more of a desire to win than competitive players in other areas. -
Click here to view the record In this week's Tampa Bay Times, an article listed the top 25 football players in the four county area for 2016. Listed at #4 is Craig Watts out of St Petersburg, Gibbs High School. His Rivals profile lists him as a 4 star safety with 20 offers, but this week's newspaper lists his three favorite schools as Florida, Ohio State, Indiana. Sweet! Great job working Florida Coach Wilson! 247 Rivals Scout ESPN Videos Twitter

It's not that I understand and others don't. Just you. You think there's magic fairy dust on local kids that isn't found elsewhere. I think that's a cute theory but very short sighted. ...and you haven't shown a shred of evidence. For every Stan Robinson example you think proves your theory, I can give you a Derrick Elston. The reason Bob Knight's teams were more successful isn't because of where his kids were from. That's just silly. -

I appreciate the insults. You still don't understand how your false stereotypes hurt your credibility and your understanding of the game. -

What is lazy? Not wanting to read a post that's 10,000 words too long about that poster's long established stereotype? In America, brevity is king. What is lazy? Only seeing where a player is from to base opinions on that player and the future success of his teams? If that's not lazy, it shows a lack of understanding for the game of basketball. Whichever you like. Have a great day gocolts :P -

I'm never going to read all that nonsense. So I'll retry my post to you. If you really think Bob Knight's teams were more successful than Tom Crean's teams because of where the players were from....you're not paying attention. Better? Understand now? But I bet you refuse to. Same old "friend". -

If you really think Bob Knight's teams were more successful than Tom Crean's because of where the players were born...then you're not paying attention. -
This. There was a time Wisconsin fans told me Bo never finished below 3rd in conference. Then that story changed. There was a time Peyton Manning would never win a Super Bowl. The stats proved it. Then he did. There was a time everybody said Henrick Lundqvist was unbeatable in elimination games at home. The stats backed their argument. Then he wasn't. Sports goes in cycles. Good for Bo for getting out at the right time. Next year will be his first out of the top 4, then the story will change to how he never finished lower than 5th.

I've never seen a coach complain to officials to the extent that he did. Great career and legacy on the court though. Good time to go out.

Oh crap, they might go undefeated again! -
Like for the info, not the content. If that makes any sense. This is the only thread I've ever created for a recruit because I happened to read it in the local paper. Thanks ccgeneral for all the updates in recruiting info! How do we go from top three, to top 10, to losing to a team that was never in any list at all? lol....recruiting.

LeBron James not a class athlete?
Josh replied to FindEndNow's topic in National Basketball Association
Depends. Is he from Indiana? Because only then can he truly care about basketball.
