I am going to ignore it, because that playbook did not tell Luck to throw all those interceptions. I can buy that the playbook made him hold the ball too long maybe, but we didn't lose games because of the playbook. We lost the games because of the turnovers.
-
That's what I was trying to ask earlier. I'm trying to see how the other half thinks. So in your mind no what matter what you keep playing him?
-
Luck threw 3 interceptions against the #32 defense in the nfl. It's not like he played the good teams while Hasselbeck played the dredges.
-
I'm not convinced it would be mailing it in. Hasselbeck's play was far superior to Luck's. He had no turnovers!
-
Agreed, but if the injury is creating losses, do you keep playing him?
-
I can buy into this. If his horrendous play is due to injury, sit him til he's right. Something has to be done
-
Clearly I've been harder on Luck than you guys. So I'm curious...how long is his leash? Do you play him out the entire year regardless? Or ever sit him if he continues his multiple interception games?
-
This is so true. There is always a zillion hot girls at hockey games. What makes that crowd so different? It's rare to find one at a football game.
-
Troy. We need him to play under control. We lost to Wichita State imo because he played too fast. He has a tendency to try to juke out his defender...and wind up on the floor without the ball. If he plays under control he can be a lottery pick. If he does not, we'll be a middle B1G team.

Indiana defeats Ottawa 82-54 - Post-Game Thread

I didn't see the replay, I watched it live from the stream. The first few minutes of the steam were very glitchy, maybe they decided to cut that from the tv broadcast? -

Agreed. It was only one exhibition game, but Max appears to be an upgrade over Hanner -

How exciting to watch IU basketball again! Bryant is big and active, very unpolished. He missed way too many bunnies. Isn't "smooth", but is very active around the ball. Troy is Troy. I wish he'd slow down sometimes instead of driving himself into trouble. Still probably our second best player. Bielfeldt has a good shooting stroke. I didn't expect that. Adjustments at halftime that improved our play! :good: I never noticed us changing defenses mid possession. Another big thumbs up -
Good riddance Pep. Clearly his gameplans were terrible. We started out most games down a bunch because of it (also because of Luck's turnovers). Then when we scrap the gameplan, we do better. This was a no brainer move. Next move...fire Grigson!
-
Why is this the standard response here? Why can't we discuss it without "you're dumb" coming out of some people? Luck cost us the game tonight. Again.
-
...and we lose because of his last interception. Kinda like every game this year. Start Hasselbeck
-
Luck with three interceptions tonight
-
Why the struggles early in games? Clearly the gameplans don't work. But that doesn't explain the turnovers. We all know Luck is more intelligent than most anybody. Dude has an architecture degree from Stanford. Is he bored early like 150+ iq people tend to be...but he's dialed in during crunch time? What's going on here?
-
As far as the trade Luck talk...right now we have most every team willing to give us half their roster for him. What's his worth at the end of this terrible season? Plus remember he has no contract beyond this season. So the Colts will have to make him the highest paid player in league history to keep him which puts his value into the red. I don't know...it's an interesting thought to me.
-
Luck is terrible, awful, horrendous. Probably worse that that. Our play calling is worthy of a firing at the airport. Leave Pep in Carolina. Our offensive line is worse than Luck. Pagano is a very nice guy...I like him and wish him well...but he needs to go. Our drafting is awful, Grigson needs to go. And we're in first place in our division. When do playoff tickets go on sale?
-
I'll take it to DM
-
Absolutely agree.

Pat McAfee is really good. Andrew Luck is the best turnover machine. Other than that, no.
-
Calm down. You've called me names three times in the last week. How are you a mod?

Periscope the BTN stream. I'd do it but I don't like you guys enough
