I know this is the perception, but I hate it. I've given out a lot of PIPs, but I swear only 25% of the time do I want the guy gone. Mostly my PIPs are given to employees who struggle with accountability and *whatever the PIP is based on*. Once they determine to take accountability for poor performance, a pip is rarely needed. I want them to stay, just get better. I'd give Woody one of those 25 percenters though
