No, just the free league, but I would like to be in the one that consists of more than 4 teams.  (Granted my team was stacked but so was everyone else's.

  7.   Ok, so if they didn't follow the game plan, who is that on?  The coach is responsible for controlling his team and directing them.  If they didn't listen to him, that's a problem with the coach.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying they didn't practice that whole time leading up to the game, but whatever they did in practice didn't work and that is on the coach.  The coach prepared them incorrectly which is the same thing as being ill-prepared.
  8.   For some of the things I've seen on kickstarter, I am genuinely interested in what it would bring.  I find that thought very intriguing.
  9. When the game started they had no idea how to attack the zone. That comes with preparation. No one on the team looked like they were ready to play. They looked flat. That is preparation. Also about the last 3 weeks of the season they looked tired, overworked. If they were prepared correctly these things would not look so obvious to anyone who watched the game.
  10.   It wasn't that we got upset by Syracuse, it was that we got demolished by Syracuse.  The "game plan" was awful.  The "substitutions" were awful.  The "overall preparation" of the team was awful.  These are things that anyone watching that game could see.    I do not know Cody so I will not speak as if I do, but in my opinion (and if someone who does know Cody would like to correct me if I am wrong, please do so) I believe Cody would have come to IU almost regardless who the coach was (within reason, not someone like Sampson).  If Coach Steven would have been at IU, I feel he would have came here even quicker than he did.  I feel that UNC was in there to appease his brother who was still playing for them at the time.  I don't feel that Coach Crean was the ultimate deciding factor in his recruitment.  I may be wrong, but that is what I have gathered from those who seem to know.   Now don't get me wrong, I wish Crean would succeed at IU, I like him as a person a great deal.  But he has not gotten 1 ounce better as a coach since the day he got here, he has just gotten better talent on the floor.  He has hit his ceiling and that ceiling should not be ok with IU or it's fanbase.  He is a decent coach and would be best served in a Mid Major program.  He is not an elite level coach and IU should demand an elite level coach.
  11. I don't have to be an insider to see these things play out during the 40 minutes that count. My eyes are all I need to see the things I mentioned. Also, hulls was a star. One of the best shooters in the country during his time at IU. . Along with Watford as well. Then add in Yogi, and 2 of the top 4 picks, in Oladipo and Zeller. We had one of the best IU teams I have seen at IU and certainly the best starting five in all of college basketball that year and we couldn't even get past the sweet 16.
  12. It's because those who really understand basketball saw the same deficiencies then that are being pointed out now and could see the writing on the wall even at an early time period in his tenure here. The type of deficiencies that are not easily fixed because they deal with playing style, coaching philosophies and mental approach to coaching a team and game planning. Being able to use what you have and adapting instead of only being able to complete when you have stars at every position.

Greg Marshall     (#1 choice is Stevens, but the OP said to take him out of the equation, even though I think he would take the IU job over the NBA)   (Please no Shaka Smart!)

    IU @ PU Game

Wow, if we don't turn this around and we continue to get blown out, the coach should be fired before the team leaves West Lafayette.

What is a blocking foul on one end is a charge on the other.  And not in our favor.
