I understand the money aspect and so forth, but I think the play-in games should be all for the 16th seeds.  This gives the 16 seeds a legitimate shot at winning 1 game in the tourney before having to play the 1 seed.  And since these would realistically all be automatic bids anyways it wouldn't hurt the overall field, just help it.

The TV at work is small, I couldn't tell if it was the shorts or shirt, either way, that stripe is awful.

Speaking of jerseys, these Michigan and Wisconsin jerseys are terrible.

Loved the IU white jerseys, can't wait to see the red ones tonight. They seem modern and Classic at the same time. Can't say enough how much I liked them.

Why is everyone so confident we will beat NW, we lost to them a few weeks ago and have lost to them 8 out of the last 12 times we've faced them?  Not to mention we play like crap generally in the BigTen Tourney.

I would really like to hear from basketball4iu about some of these topics. He has been surprisingly quiet lately?   If it wasn't for the honoring of the historic IU team on Saturday, a boycott would be well deserved.  (Unless that team starts the boycott themselves, lol)

The biggest thing that stood out to me last night was that it appeared that Yogi gave up.  Usually he is the one that always looks into the game and trying the hardest, but on the floor just looked like the last place he wanted to be last night.  Has Crean lost Yogi, maybe not, maybe he was just worn out, and I can't blame him with how hard he has had to play lately.  I love watching Yogi so seeing this is disturbing to me and screams of internal break down of the system.  I could very well be wrong, but I have seen this break down of the team happen all seven years Crean has coached at IU.  Hows the saying go?  Fool me once shame on you, fool me twice shame on me, fool me 7 times ..........want a contract extension?

MSU have decent big men, we have virtually 0% chance to win that game, home, away or on a neutral court.  We will be lucky to go 2-1 down the stretch.  Northwestern playing well too, it's entirely possible we could go 0-3 down the stretch although 1-2 or 2-1 is most likely the case.

  Personally I would think this would be a great time to split the conferences in a similar way to football (maybe rethink that alignment as well).  You would have 7 teams in each division so you would have 6 teams you would play home/away, making that 12 games.  Then you would play the 7 teams from the other division giving you a 19 game conference season and everyone in each division a very similar strength of schedule (within the conference and not taking into account any home/away differences in those 7 games).  The only imbalance, would possibly come from one division being better than the other but it would be a lot better than the current random scheduling.  Then you have the BTT set up with two sides split by the divisions, and the top team from each division gets the first round bye.     Or you could even go with how the tournament is set now and rank the teams 1-14 as it is now.
