I don't care where the game is played, it just needs to be played.  If Cal wants it in Indy, so what, closer to our fan base then his.  I loved the match ups in the ole Hoosier Dome.  Bus the students up every 2 or 4 years and include it in the season tickets on those years.     Another idea:   Indiana/Kentucky Shootout  (Or Battle of the Ohio)   These three games played on Wednesday/Thursday/Friday at Bankers Life  (or if on winter break, all 3 on Friday) Indiana State vs Northern Kentucky Evansville vs Morehead State Valparaiso vs Murray State (You could even rotate in the other 3 indiana D1 schools if need be every other year, IUPUI, IPFW, Ball State)   These four games played on Saturday at Lucas Oil Butler vs Eastern Kentucky Notre Dame vs Western Kentucky Purdue vs Louisvillve IU vs Kentucky   Winner takes braggin rights! (Or have some kind of trophy with the winning state outiline imprinted or engraved on it)

According to the rankings released by the committee, we should be in the South bracket as the #1 5 seed.  Purdue should be in the East, Maryland in the Midwest and Baylor in the West.

Anything less than elite 8 and someone should be fired. Getting to the elite 8 and losing would be disappointing but wouldn't make me upset overall (unless we lost to a crap team or got embarrassed.) Final four would make me feel good about the season.

I don't know what happened to my original response? It was there. End result was 12-6 with 5-5 finish (not counting the Wisconsin loss because that game had happen so we were 7-1

If we play like we have played the last 3 games then yes we can be a top contender.     Here is the problem though.  We haven't beaten anyone who has a good team/coach except maybe Notre Dame.     All of our good conference games against the top teams comes in the 2nd half of the B1G schedule.  This is when we tend to slump every year already.     Is it because they are tired, Maybe?     But when we get in games with good coaches we tend to get out coached and those games are yet to come.     Hope I am wrong but the stars are aligning for an epic meltdown.........unless we continue to play the way we have the last 3 games.  Unfortunately, I just don't have the confidence this will continue.  I am hoping it will though!
