On D1 docket, Purdon't is the only school that has released their full non-con save for a tournament that hasn't released their teams/schedule yet. There's always gonna be a chasm between 'big' schools and 'small' schools regardless of what the structure is unless there's artificial means to close the gap (player draft, negotiated mass level revenue distribution). The next chapter of this is when schools start revenue sharing and in his example Kansas can use their dept. monies to pay that 4th recruit while Wichita St is getting who knows what from the American Conference. Wichita is a unique case cuz they have a mega donor but most schools in their financial weight class aren't gonna have the NIL + Rev Share to compete outside their neighborhood.
