Louisville sports radio is blowing up and melting down, CBS, ABC, and Wall Street Journal reporting that Pitino is in fact "coach 2."
-
I glanced through it this morning, but getting ready to read it a little more closely. Just finished reading again, man that was well documented.

I don't think I could honestly bet against the death penalty! I really think Louisville pi$$3d in the NCAA's cheerios on this and added a black eye for good measure by leaving recorded evidence. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

That's why I'm a biologist not a lawyer, lol! Thanks for the decryption of the statement ! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

He may not want pitino to but the way I read that statement was that it's a forgone conclusion slick rick feels wronged by this and he is innocent of any wrongdoing. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners mobile app

This is one true example of a gift that just keeps on giving!

Looks like pitino is gonna sue, imagine that! I think the judge will have a terrible time trying to refrain from spontaneous laughter! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Wonder how many messages have been sent to 2018 potential cash cows to say sorry you can commit here but there is no money for you? Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Sing Little Birdie, Sing!

Dickie V is on ESPN Louisville, just said that he has been told that one of the indicted involved with multiple shoe companies has flipped and is talking. Several major U's are at risk.

I'm not Stu, but the way I see it is the FBI has amassed a large amount of evidence that probably doesn't break any federal laws, but does violate NCAA regs. The FBI is handing the NCAA Infractions committee all the info that they will need to take actions on other teams throughout college basketball. I still think the FBI may find some more criminal offenses and pursue charges, but I think the larger picture will be how many schools are implicated with what the FBI already has.

Priceless!

Courier Journal reporter now saying that a UofL employee stating that reports that Jurich has been fired are false. I guess we will find out in about 50 minutes.
-
They are saying it on the local news here and the radio as well.

Pitino in the presidents office as of 11 am.
-
ESPN 680 just said according to a reporter (could not catch the name) Jurich was relieved of his position.
-
I'm trying to get things done, but I'm listening to ESPN 680 down here in Louisville! Not getting much done needless to say!
-
Well "we got to keep this on the low, we are on probation" might have some support for that
-
ESPN reporting that Pitino has told staff that he expects to lose his job.
-
President just stated more to come later in the day, cannot comment at this time.

Ugh!

I think the songbirds have already started singing, the FBI raided Andy Miller's office yesterday afternoon. From everything I have read, the total charges against those arrested yesterday could result in 80 year sentences (not likely with plea deals and such). Someone is going to sing, just a matter of time.
-
I would say as the Lawyers and FBI start to turn the screws (I heard on a radio show charges could result in up to 20yrs in the slammer), those indicted, especially the one who worked at adidias and Nike, they will start singing like there is no tomorrow! We could be hearing about more and more schools involved for the next few months! I don't think the NCAA is going to be able to maintain the status quo and slapping schools on the wrist anymore! I bet there are some major programs shaking in their boots and making tons of phone calls tonight! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
