I'm not worried about all the fuss about RL playing with Shittu and Garland. RL has offers from plenty of teams with multiple 5* players and they didn't make his final 3. I really do not think that having multiple 5* on the roster is part of RL decision making process. Watching him play, it looks like he enjoys being the center piece of a team. Does that mean he is ours, who knows, maybe not even him or the family at this point. The recruiting news is slowing down, not much to talk about, instead of just reporting the news, many are reading the tea leaves to draw out some drama to spike the news feeds. We were told several months ago that RL would be a spring commit and now everyone is losing their cool that the tea leaves seem to point to Vandy. As others have mentioned, I believe that come January to March news will become more than circumstantial and will have more than just guesses. This thread is starting to resemble the Darius thread with all of the tea leaf expert opinions saying something that wasn't even close to how that turned out. Lets not get all worked up like that again. Patience is the key, and unless RL verbals on twitter or something, I would take everything with a grain of salt. For now enjoy some IU basketball! I know I am enjoying it, especially after being at the Hall on Friday for my dads birthday. I really enjoyed watching a coach that knows what he is doing and its about damn time that we have one!

I don't know how long it will take but to actually have a coach hold players and himself accountable, use the bench for punishment, and using timeouts at ideal times is a huge step in a positive direction. I think if the seniors get benched for an extended period of time and the underclass men gain experience, it will be a huge plus. But only if being benched sinks in! I'm sorry but if JN and Rojo can't contribute more than they are it time to just let the underclass man take over and let them build experience. Rojo can't find the bottom of the net on any shot over 6ft from the basket. JN makes more freshman mistakes than the actual freshman. Davis was eliminated by the refs tonight. I really don't know what it is about B1G refs other than they are just terrible. Love having CAM on the sideline but I would be pulling my hair out if I was him. I'm fairly certain after he watches the film from tonight he is going to see that with DG off the floor and our senior guards on, our offense stalls no effective cuts to the basket, lazy post passes (if there is a post pass), and lots of dribbling. And one more thing why the hell does JN drive to the dam corner[emoji35]? I really like our freshman, they need as much experience as they can get before conference play starts.
