  1. Is this the first senior class in IU history to go winless against Purdue?
  2. Dammit I really want Archie to be the guy... Big opportunity Sunday for the boys!
  3. 1. We needed that win. 2. THAT is the effort we expect. 3. Trayce is showing that hes special. 4. Race is showing he needs more minutes. Really think he is the key to this team. 5. Not excusing the f you non sense. But smith and Trayce did have a little embrace after the horn sounded.
  4. Trayce is Trayce. but when race goes, we go. Kid is an X factor for this team.
  5. Archie literally saying “what are you talking about” to the ref during the explanation. Ref was all the way at the other end of the court, and calls a bench tech?!?!
  6. I recorded video and sent it to friends.have also slowed it down, and it’s absolutely clear he tells him to shut the f up... dont have to read into someone clearly saying something haha.

    IU @ Michigan 2/16 1 pm CBS

Does anyone have any insight on if Crean or Archie (or any coach), have utilized Wayne Winston and his analysis? Feel like having that resource in your backyard and not utilizing it just seems so silly.

Howard clears his bench. We are down 21 with a minute to go and Archie won’t put the walk ons in?

The amount of double digit road L’s is hard to deal with. I turned it off, going to enjoy this weather.

I thought they had at one point, but could be mistaken. I was frantically refreshing draft kings to see if I needed to live bet Iowa ML haha. Was very happy to see them not collapse and hold on for the W.

Team was locked in from the tip. Of course DG going lights out in the first half helped. He had a different look, was locked in on both sides of the ball. Still some things to clean up, but loved the effort. Even when Iowa was making runs, cut it down to 9 in the second half, we didn't fold like we have prior. Also, there is something about Race Thompson. Kid continually has great +/- numbers, and sees to always be on the floor when good things are happening.

This is a big move TBH. Good for CTA.

In 2018, open salaries is showing we paid Crean $202k. Paid him $2,693,438 in 2017. Don't have 2019 data up yet, cannot assume it will be much, as I think his Georgia contact almost entirely wiped out any remaining buyout dollars.

Right. It is my understanding that would be spread out over time, and offset by other coaching income, etc.

I guess it depends what we are talking about in regards to donations. He gave $5 million for the sports media technology center in 2015 and funded the 3-D replay that IU uses.

I agree. Honestly, I really enjoyed some of the Michigan writers (umhoops) content that bozich repackaged or referenced in his own articles. Guy typically had some good analysis.

A buddy sent me a screenshot from Inside Our Hell, I mean....Inside The Hall premium forum. Poster asked Bozich if Archie having his hands tied (in respct to discipline, handling of players, removal of players) was a potential story or just an excuse. Bozich responded that it isn't a potential story, implying that is it just that, an excuse. Thought this was interesting, as it has been a topic of discussion on here.

    The Next Six Games

With scholarships already open, and 2-3 more defections I would hope that the staff would be able to bring in some very solid transfers, either via juco, grad, etc. Archie even mentioned it on his last radio show, when asked about the 2 scholarships open. But if we truly are as handcuffed as some have discussed regarding treating athletic transfers the same as non athletic transfers, then I don't have much hope it will improve next year. The 3 freshman we have coming in are 4 year guys that should contribute soph/junior year, but not immediate impact players. That paired with our current roster doesn't give me any indication that we will be leaps and bounds better next year.

Play a box and one for all I care, just throw something out there we can win consistently and at a high level with haha. Also...anything that doesn't require a high ball screen hedge all the way to Indianapolis.

One thing I am sure about...I was never the captain haha.

I'll be honest, I have been on a lot of teams on multiple levels, and never had a coach pick our team captain. In my experience, this is something that was always left up to a team vote. Also, I am sure summer performance etc. played into this, and Archie may have been okay with it leading into the season based upon what he had seen. Things change, hindsight is always 20/20.

Very good points...I think they call that rock and a hard place. On top of that, I am sure Archie was hopeful he would turn over a new leaf and live up to his potential, with a captain role possibly providing some additional motivation.
