I’m not sure I’ve ever seen a team fail to rebound the basketball at this level….Hummel joking, but he’s right. I’m actually surprised when we get the rebound.

Race needs to wake up or sit down. He’s wasting space out there, being passive with everything.

This is a completely opposite team than what we have shown all year. We are getting bullied on the glass, look a step behind everywhere. Hard to imagine a worse first half here.

I hated on Smith for Purdue…kid is solid. Will be a good player for them.

Penix really has a case for the Heisman IMO. 4,354 yards, 362 yards per game, 30 TD's, 41 pts. per game. That's umm, pretty good.

I commented in the game thread right after they showed the "speech"...it was truly uncomfortable to watch. Players weren't doing the normal "YEAH", "THIS IS OUR HOUSE" rah rah type of stuff during the speech. It was just him, the camera, and a dead/stale awkwardness. When he was done, it was pretty quiet, and the camera cut away haha.

I really don’t understand how Williams was so low on the depth chart…third/fourth string?!?!? We don’t see practice, but it’s looking like He should of been the guy all darn year. His legs give the offense such a different look. Need to work on accuracy but the arm strength is clearly there….maybe add a few more yards this game haha.

Did Mullen not rip that ball out? Ref blew the whistle so early.

I’m not going to argue if we should have received the techs, or downplay that they have a serious impact on the game. But I also can’t help but admit that there is a part of me that absolutely loves seeing the Dog in some of these guys…especially Reneau and X. We have lacked a grit and edge for so darn long, I love seeing guys refuse to get pushed around. If these techs were for dirty plays or seriously unsportsmanlike , I’d have a different tune. But a couple guys saying I’m f’ing here you better respect me…the competitor in me freaking loves it.

I was on the phone with a friend at like the 4 minute mark and we agreed we need 2 minutes of good X…almost Jinxed us haha.

I need to go back and watch the play…but was yelling at Kopp for passing the ball to a Freshman Reneau in that situation knowing they are going to foul. I have confidence in Malik to stroke those…but first road game as a freshman in hostile environment to hit big free throws. Tough for the young man. That said…they didn’t have an answer for Malik. His need to be on the court is evident…

Blaming NIL on our recent dumpster fire seasons is a bad look for CTA in my opinion. Punting accountability for an inability to maintain a staff capable of developing the players that he has recruited. Recruiting classes have been historically better than arguably any time on paper, and the results are pitiful. I understand that the current environment is allowing power schools to tap into donors for large NIL pools to be paid out to the top talent....but we were never getting those kids anyways. Develop the talent you have, put a competitive product on the field, win some damn games and maybe...just maybe the money will come. Putting the blame on donors for IU stinking, because we aren't coughing up NIL money is hard to swallow. I would love to see the collective NIL money going to offensive lineman in the big ten.... And to be clear...we aren't only losing to the Big 3 Power Schools that Allen mentions. We can't beat anyone right now.
