  1. 1.4 pts per possession allowed is…not good. Just a lack of energy on the court and the sideline today.
  2. Woody and staff…figure it out, cause this is pathetic. Why can no one build something here? Other programs lose coaches and are back cranking the next year. Why is it so hard at IU?
  3. And it appears like we’ve given up…
  4. I’m watching a recording, so I’m behind. But I’m so sick of watching us get blown out in these types of games. It’s exhausting haha.

People have commented, but I really do think Walker (both on the court, on the bench and off the court), is more of an asset to this team than we could have imagined. I’ve been told he is as nice of a kid as you’ll ever meet, always smiling and in a good mood, a real student of the game and a heck of a hard worker. Perfect seasoned vet who can be a spark off the bench and a role model for the younger guys.

He made one, and he didn’t jump to the rafters. Again…that’s a theme.

I thought I saw that USC poached UCLA’s DC.

I loved his second answer on NIL... Said we won't have the same resources that other top teams have, but that wont be detrimental...said he would love to see the price tag of the top guys compared to their production...it's all abut how you evaluate and develop kids...his worst transfers at JMU were power 5 kids, best were FSC kids. We won't likely ever compete with the big schools for NIL dollars...but Coach Cig is making no excuses....

He brings a high level of expectation and winning mindset, and is expressing it for all to hear, with confidence...what that does for a locker room and a team is huge. Change the culture, change the mindset..."High standard, high expectation, high accountability". Anddd I just ran through the wall.

Curious about this as well... Assuming that him and Dolson had a very frank conversation, and Cig's vision included improving several areas Indiana is lacking or has lacked in the past (NIL, Recruiting Budget, etc...). If Cig was Dolson's guy, and he clearly laid out his vision and plan, it could be as simple as IU is coming to the table and committing to the entirety of that plan, and not limiting ourselves in areas we can control to win games, be successful and not simply limp into bowl games here and there.

I get it…Bell’s word means nothing to most on this board, which is why I included that in my post haha. Truly don’t think it mattered who started, his play calling was horrendous, deserved to be fired. With that said, none of us were in the room with him and Allen when that decision was made, and we will never know who’s call that was, but I don’t believe Bell had 100% say in that choice. There was a lot at play for why I think Jackson started, but not going to beat that horse again.

Agreed…this will really sting. Thats a kid you can build around. I know most don’t trust much of what Walt Bell says/said, but I know he was confident he’d play in the NFL when his college days were over.

I had heard a rumor heading into Purdue game week that Allen was done after yesterday, and that Gruden was the guy. One of those things happened, but I took the second thing for what it was…a rumor. Interesting to hear his name is being pushed, but still would be very surprised if not shocked, if we went that route.

I don’t follow college football outside of the big ten as much as others….who on that list can excite these young kids to help him recruit and hit the portal successfully immediately? I feel like we need to make a splash and get people excited about, and attention on the program right away. Who can give us a Deion like buzz?
  21. Huge minutes from him. His length in the zone was critical. Confidence booster for him.
  22. I will say this…it shows growth for Woodson to basically admit we can’t guard man to man, and adjust to a zone. Thats what good coaches do. Im encouraged by that.
  23. Playing so bad it’s got me accidentally posting in the UConn thread haha.
