Not sure why MSU got a tech there…Edey came over and initiated all of it. -

Not really sure our starting point, but triple the NIL is surely a move in the right direction. I am trying to not get the cart ahead of the horse too much, but I have a high level of hope that Cig is the real deal, and will have us competitive week in week out. Win the games you should, play well against the big dogs, steal one here and there and play in bowl games. -
Go get this kid...

Do we have an update on Trey? See some rumors of meniscus tear, but nothing confirmed by anyone on his status.... (Mods, feel free to move this if needed...just the most active board where I thought I'd get an answer haha) -

Dolson better squash that real quick...if I'm him, I'm much more worried about pissing Teri off than appeasing The Mike Woodson... -

I enjoy discourse, never want to see someone leave, but it was time haha. I really wanted him to answer my question...he spoke with a confidence that implied an intimate knowledge of the current college basketball landscape, and the inner workings of collegiate programs, NIL, recruitments... especially this one...didn't need specifics, just was curious what was driving that. -
Same, but wanted to check. Once requested, I've always assumed it was granted, given the horrendous PR that would create for a program.
-
In the past, or at other programs, is it typically announced that the player has been released from their LOI? I guess I haven't ever really noticed or paid attention if that occurs.

I also asked this very politely several pages back, as I am genuinely curious...haven't seen a response yet. -
I’d welcome Trey Townsend from Oakland with open arms if he wanted to take a step up…not in the portal, but this kid can hoop….milwuakee has no answer for him

If you've answered this, apologies, too many pages to keep up with. Honestly asking, do you have first hand knowledge of this, or just speaking on what you have gathered, read, etc.? Your posts read as if you have intimate knowledge on the inner workings of the current college basketball landscape and what programs are dealing with, especially here at IU. I speak only to my opinions/thoughts, etc., but your posts have a different confidence to them that implies a different level of insight. Just curious. -

Knew he had been hurt back to back seasons, was just curious. 6'5 guards don't grow on trees, surprised he couldn't find a landing spot where he would actually get to play. -

This is off topic, but I am curious if anyone can provide some light on this.. What is the scoop on Jordan Rayford? Know he has been hurt back to back seasons. Went to Airforce for a year over offers from Maine and Old Dominion. Nothing exciting with those offers, but D1 offers none the less...Doesn't seem like your traditional walk on, curious as to why he ended up here vs. trying to get a spot at a lower level school. Surely someone, somewhere could use a 6'5 guard. -

I think it likely didn't leak at the time because things were still going okay and most everyone was still on Woody's side...things start to go down hill and lips start to move. I also think it is likely that Woodson got his name wrong, but I do find it hard to believe that he just didn't know who he was. Those are two completely different things, and if he actually didn't know who Love was, yikes. Getting his name wrong would also mirror the "rumors" about him getting Flory's name wrong. I mean hell, I can barely get my kids names right half the time, and my parents and grandparents called me everything but my name on multiple occasions growing up. Could be as innocent as that... Do I think there is some truth to these "rumors", yes...but do I think there is some embellishment or bad telephone going on as its repeated, also yes. -

If he continues to have a solid showing in the BTT and NIT (if we accept), I think he's played himself into a second round pick. The question will be, how bad does he want to be a pro, and can the NIL money convince him to come back and try to move into the first round next year. -

I agree. Just trying to understand what about those two resumes warrants a 70+ difference in NET, and a 9 seed projected for them haha. -

I need someone smarter than me to explain the net disparity between us and MSU, when we literally have the same resume now…they are 4 spots ahead on SOS, both have 4 quad 1 wins. Im not saying we should be in, but why do the metrics love them so much. -

Looking at that graphic they showed, I still don’t understand how we have the same resume as MSU, will be identical if we beat them today, and they are a 9 seed and we are out. SOS only 4 a part also… Someone help that make sense for me.
