Not that far west. Had a pitstop in AZ and now in CO. Haven't found a go-to Mexican restaurant yet unfortunately...need to try the food trucks parked everywhere around here though.

Since moving out west I have started frequenting Cafe Rio and Cava over Chipotle...

    2024 IUFB Season

Good point. It seems like the Wilson era was 50 years ago for some reason haha.

    2024 IUFB Season

This team got better at every level and position...but I still keep coming back to the O-Line, and the improvement from last year is really amazing. What Bostad has done with that group, is wild. Getting Katic back was the catalyst, but have we ever had an O-Line as strong as this?

I’m actually glad…bulletin board material heading into MSU…play with a chip, make them respect you, make a statement.

Ellison took a pop back to back plays, just pure muscle and determination got him the extra yards. Love this kid.

Not blaming him for that at all. Offense has just been flat overall.

We gotta get this figured out on offense quickly… Tayven isn’t Rourke…lets adjust and make this work for him.

    2024 IUFB Season

Sage Steel and ESPN settled their lawsuit in 2023...I highly doubt they are going to bring her back. Mellencamp was just back for Big Noon kickoff. I think Joe Buck and newly initiated IU Fan Boy Troy Aikman would be fun. My guess is that it will be Schwarber. No political baggage, well known, good personality and a somewhat recent grad.

Open the checkbook. Do everything possible to keep this man in Bloomington. The sharks will be circling in the water to get a piece of him with his history and what he’s doing here. It really is remarkable. I just hope the chance to build IU into a consistent contender is the challenge he continues to seek…and maybe it will be. He’s a chip on the shoulder type of guy, and everyone told him it couldn’t be done here.

    2024 Hoosier Hysteria - Friday, October 18, 2024

I thought that they weren’t doing the skills stuff this year and were just scrimmaging? Could have sworn I read that…could also be losing my mind. It’s a toss up.

No problem, and your point still stands. Having Pete around IU as an alumni + the connection to the Cooks is a positive for IU in terms of NIL, resources, etc. IMO. I can also guarantee I'd swap my net worth with Pete's any day, even if it's not a billion dollars haha.

Bill (RIP) and his wife Gayle, and now their son Carl, are billionaires. Carl being the richest man in Indiana at an estimated $10.7 billion. The other 2 in the state are Irsay and Simon. Pete does very well I am sure in his top spot with Cook, and is actively involved in IU Sports and NIL Collectives alongside the Cooks, but I don't believe he is anywhere near a billionaire.
  16. Hoosiers - 24 Cornballs - 17 Bye week, well rested, no self imposed limitations, packed rock...come on boys.

    College Football Thread

Just read that he was the backup, and came in essentially for the last couple drives, as the starter got hurt. Once he came in they marched, along with their defense forcing two fumbles. Wild. I would of thought he had the tools to start at that level. I remember at one point trying to mental gymnastics myself into thinking he could lead our team moving forward haha.

I don't follow that account...is it satire? What warrants IU at 22 haha.

    They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

I don't wish jail on anyone, but that is interesting if true. EDIT: With a quick google search, the ON3 website has Hoosier Hysterics Collective listed as an LLC under "status", where the Hoosier Connect Collective on the same site is listed as a Non Profit.

    They “Retired” Coach Woodson Thread

I never got to attend one, but had heard positive things about them. In a world where Woody doesn't need their NIL money anymore, I am not surprised they landed here. Hoosier Hysterics though could have put out a press release, said it was canceled due to unforeseen conflicts, and possibly worked their way back into favor. It's not like Dolson or Woody were putting PR out detailing the "why" behind it...they are driving the nail into their coffin by doing this. I always wondered if the Athletic department worried if this event stole some thunder from Hoosier Hysteria. Which in full disclosure, I really think they need to revamp. I loyally went year after year before moving, and it had gotten very stale.
