I am seeing this a lot on Twitter. I am just really blown away by this. We have a rough season and so many are turning their backs on him, even though he has led IU out of the dark times. What do you think? Are you on the "Fire Tom Crean" train?

He is supposedly recruiting. He was supposed to go see a recruit at an open gym in Michigan last Sunday, and according to the recruit, he never showed. If nobody can name their credible sources, they are speculation. That's it. I can't believe anything until something happens.

Right, see that was two years ago. The alumni and major boosters have spoken.

I still point out that Glass' silence is deafening. In 2015, he spoke out in defense of Clappy, but now, silence.

However, with that said, Glass will either have to announce an extension or termination. With two years left on Crean's contract, he will either have to give him an extension to ensure Crean doesn't leave, otherwise, the end is near for him.

Here is what will probably happen....Glass give clappy one more chance, and if he wins the Big Ten next season, he gets an extension, much to the dismay of IU fans.

Here is the thing that I want to know...why would Crean want to come back? He knows people want him gone, and at the end, was getting booed at home games. Next season would be even worse if he stays.

I'm sure he has been told he needs to explore other options. The fans and alumni have spoken.

Crean is like the creepy stepfather that nobody in the family likes, and Glass is like the mom that can't figure why nobody likes him.

I have heard that Rabjohns is not seeing Mizzou and Crean happening. Can anyone confirm this?

We know the face of basketball has changed since the days of Bob Knight, and is not the same as the glory days of old IU, but a questions once asked to me was, would I be opposed to one and dones if it meant we were hanging banners? I will ask you the same, would you be opposed to one and dones if IU were hanging banners? My answer is yes and no. I would say yes, as long as the program was run clean, and not by known cheaters like Calipari. No, in the sense that I don't want IU to be a school seen as a fast lane for players to quick go pro.

I doubt it. I never thought my Fire Tom Crean post would either.

The biggest ace in Alford's hand he can tell players, "You see that 1987 banner? I was on that team." Outside of that, I am not fully sold he is the man for the job.

I agree 100%. He is exactly what IU needs.

I lost support for Crean after we lost Fischer, and Calbert saw the writing on the wall and left also. The next coach should do what he can to get him back. That would help in state recruiting a lot.

Really isn't relevant IMO. Alford would be another Crean I think. Fife, not to sure about.

He should be. From what I hear, he is pretty interested, but as with anything else, remains to be seen.

The latest I have heard, is that Crean has an interview with Mizzou this week. It is also a sign that he is leaving, he was supposed to visit a recruit in Michigan last week, but never showed up, and that isn't like him.
