Disappointing, praying he doesn’t go to Purdue as that could be Sol Campbell-esque for any other EPL fans out there. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Your Starters and Lineups

I was thinking this when watching MD vs OSU; we just still don’t have much talent. TJD is probably the only player that would start on either of those teams and if Green is hot he’d see the floor a good amount. The problem is we really only have a shot against good teams when Devonte gets hot which doesn’t happen too often. Because of this, I think the lineup needs to maximize offensive scoring potential and creativity so we don’t watch 25 second possessions with a crappy shot at the end of it. I’d just like to see this for a bit: Green Hunter Smith TJD De’Ron All of this while pounding the hall inside and hoping DD can stay out of foul trouble. On top of that, let Devonte find open spots outside after moving it inside and let Jerome get creative. Let Smith run hard in transition and play aggressive defense. Hoosiers just need some spark in my eyes. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  6. I think it’s hard to look at the bright side. This loss sucked and was one of the more depressing IU athletics moments in the last decade or so; I even put it right up there with the Sweet 16 loss to Cuse. Just flat out sad the way it turned out. I’ve tried to blame it on the Hoosiers being cursed, perpetually like this so blaming myself for getting my hopes up, and everything else in between but I can’t really settle on anything. Sports are a cruel world and I’ve realized ya just gotta deal with it. It’s very hard, but also very important, to look at the bright side of all this. The Hoosiers have both Quarterbacks returning, Stevie Scott coming back, Peyton Hendershot back, hopefully Whop back along with Fryfogle, and 3 starting offensive linemen. Add that to the nine defensive starters that should be back and CTA is in a great position to build on this season. All we can do now is look ahead and find excitement that we very well could be 6-1 (but it’s Indiana so it won’t work out well) with Penn State coming to Bloomington. 7. Pregame coverage was all about the Vols. Jeremy Pruitt’s nonchalant 2nd half interview pissed me off too. Go Hoosiers. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  8. How bout when Ndamokung Suh comes out for Tennessee at halftime, Stevie Scott, Simon, Coy, Hendershot, and Donovan Hale all just get fully healed too. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. Offensive line has gotta step up. Injury excuses only last so long. Can’t keep pressuring Ramsey every damn play. Infuriating Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  13. Ramsey practiced all break according to IU’s practice photos so it’d be weird if news broke 30 mins before the game that he isn’t playing. Either way just wish these things would be public prior to warm ups. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  14. Sad this thread isn’t bigger for game day. Huge game for the Hoosiers and I can assure you CTA has got the boys fired up. Been the goal all year: win a bowl game. LEO Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Worth thinking if he would pull a Charles Matthews route if UK brings in a solid 2020 class. Interesting times ahead for BBN Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  20. For all saying, as an Indiana fan you can’t accept that kind of record or that kind of .500 performance, I get it but I disagree. Granted Indiana is technically a blue blood but that’s not the level the program is at currently. It’s important the team keeps improving and makes noticeable progress year in-year out. 20-11 and a tournament bid would be an improvement. It’s unrealistic to expect a 25+ win season and unrealistic to expect Indiana to finish with the same record as an OSU/Michigan. Sadly that’s just not where the program is at. In my opinion, I believe we should all be satisfied with a 20 win season ASSUMING that gets the Hoosiers into the tourney. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    OC Candidates

Love seeing the points that the Indiana OC job is an attractive one. Didn’t really think of that prior to viewing BtB today. Not saying Indiana is a stepping stone job, but the position of OC is. If a coach thinks they can come in and have success at IU under the role of OC then go be the HC somewhere big D1 within the next few years that’s equally attractive to them. I think there’s many qualified candidates and really really hoping CTA doesn’t make an internal hire/a hire that has some sort of past connection to IUFB like the direction many often immediately look. Fred Glass Retiring

Really really hoping McRobbie makes the right hire. Glass had found success with a variety of different sports during his tenure and football seemed to be on the come up as well. Hugely important next step awaits. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    Will Trayce Go Pro?

Part in IU’s favor is that Trayce seems to be very Indiana and Hoosier oriented. He’s definitely looked at Cody Zeller and seen the jump he made after another year of school. He’s also extremely close with Armaan and also Leal and Galloway. I think if TJD realizes the importance of him staying another year and sees a potential tourney run in store for year 2 he’ll stay. That’s without mentioning his jumpshot that an NBA 4 needs to have. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
