Another huge aspect in this recruitment is honestly the underclass men at IU. Those versus Purdue’s counterparts will be his best friends for the next few years and it seems like he gets along with TJD and Co. very well. Totally agree and have been thinking the same. However Allen is a media darling this week and every outlet wants an interview with him. I think the players will be locked in and ready to annihilate the same team that finished with one passing yard last year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Been able to digest this game overnight but wow that still does not feel real. Probably the top IUFB moment of my lifetime and even a top sporting moment in general. Two biggest takeaways from this game IMO: CTA is the perfect man to lead the Hoosiers: think we might’ve gotten a gem here especially considering Allen doesn’t seem like the type of guy to leave for a bigger brand. He’s about a personable guy as they get and it’s clear the players absolutely LOVE playing for him. You have to respect the hell out of that 2 point conversion attempt in overtime and my favorite part of it all was Allen yelling to his team after the game, “I’ve been mocked, I’ve been embarrassed, but IVE NEVER CARED!” Penix leads the team late: In the final minutes, Penix delivered when needed most. He had a few great throws to the sideline and the Hoosiers moved the ball well. He finished with the rushing touchdown and the two point conversion to send it to OT, the throwing TD in overtime, and the game winning 2 Point Conversion. Regardless of the rest of the game, that’s the kind of finish you want to see from your Quarterback who’s supposed to lead this team. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Honestly Parsons out for the year and no Journey Brown I think we win. Our defense is nearly as good as there’s and the only offensive player I’d trade from IU to PSU is Hendershot for Friermuth. Not sure why were this big of dogs at home against PSU. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

While I find it hard to project the Hoosiers to finish top four in the Big Ten this year, I’m just pumped at the thought of them being able to field a similarly talented team as those at the top with the expectation that they should compete. Mohammad’s recruitment always felt like one of those that was super far away so there was no point for getting hopes up. Now, he’s about to enter his senior year of HS and will likely decide in the coming months and Indiana is considered the leader. Wow this will be fun to follow.
