  1. Felt very similar I imagine after the game. I just shared a similar post and forgot to mention the tackling deficiencies today. So many times it felt like Ole Miss was getting consistently 3-4 more yards on a play than they otherwise should have. Good point. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  2. Damn. Today was weird, it was like watching a totally different IU team than the one we’ve watched all season. I don’t feel that we controlled the trenches very well (especially on defense), our secondary had numerous lapses leaving receivers stupidly open, we dropped silly passes and didn’t make unbelievable grabs, and we didn’t have much success with passing the ball downfield. Those were all aspects that I feel like we excelled in all season which is why I felt today’s team was unrecognizable at times. I was also upset to see the team that felt so disrespected all month and all season come out as the team that arguably didn’t want it more and seemed less urgent. A frankly depressing end to an otherwise unbelievable season, and there’s no gimmick or fluke play that costed us the win either this year. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  3. Also this has a little Kiante Enis feel to it so hopefully this guy’s story ends differently! ;) Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  4. Michigan friends are salty about this one; that’s how we know it’s good! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  5. Anybody know if we’re team Bloomin Onion or Coconut Shrimp!? Asking the real questions here. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  6. Would love to see the IUFB social media pages put something together like these for the game tomorrow. Pretty exciting videos and I don’t even care for NU or O$U. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  8. SEC has different rules than the Big Ten and each team uses their conference rules. Not sure the ruling within the SEC but they got all their games in so I’m guessing there is no percentage requirement for Ole Miss. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  9. Allen was quoted after last years loss saying something along the lines of you can’t skip steps of a program to get to the top. It was said that an elevator can’t take a program to elite level but it sure as hell can take an elite program downwards. This is a step for the program that requires a win to take that next foot forward. Time for the Hoosiers to show the world the earmuffs and blinders approach it has been talking about all season. IUBB @ Illinois - 12/26/20 @ 4:00 ET on FS1-TV

Cockburn has been extremely shaky in the pick n’ roll this year, would love to see a breakout game from Lander today if he and TJD can get things going. Guard play has to step up with Ayo and Frazier being good defenders. Have a feeling today’s game will be very similar to the game towards the end of last season. Hopefully the Hoosiers come out on top this time. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

What Can IUBB do to Revive Your Excitement/Confidence?

To answer the thread’s question... nothing for me! Up to the football team to lose to Ole Miss and I’ll be forced to be excited about IUBB. Until then, IUFB all the way. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

(2021) SF - Aminu Mohammed to Georgetown

This is all very strange... guess I’m hoping he chooses IU obviously but there is an impressive, air-tight lid on this recruitment and can’t say I’m too optimistic. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  16. Please delete this post if I’m getting absurdly greedy or forward thinking, but, with the NCAA allowing all athletes another year of eligibility, what are the odds Philyor, Fryfogle, and McFadden decide to stick around for a shot at the playoff? I’ll see myself out. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Gary Barta Week 1 and a top 10 Cincy team Week 3 should be a solid chance for a few good wins since everybody’s saying the Hoosiers don’t have any this year! Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

  20. Also, not to rant, but to then say “We appreciated watching Indiana play this year.” Uhh, screw that. The Hoosiers are being treated as some special-needs team/JV program that competes with the varsity guys. F*** off Gary give us some d*** respect. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners
  21. He is! It’s not even a “think” at this point. It makes absolutely zero sense why he’d lead the charge against a team within his own conference, not even really a conference rival, in support of his team’s own, legitimate in-state rival. I would love nothing more than to see Tom Allen and the Indiana Hoosiers football team walk into Kinnick Stadium next year with guns a Blazin’ and spank that overrated and racist football program led by the AD who has cost the Indiana football program out of so much deserved success. Occasionally I’ll feel bad for the Irish for repeatedly getting blown out on the national stage. But it’s so hard to ever root for them when their delusional fans enter every big game with the thought that they’ll somehow win. In my opinion, if the fans were hopeful yet also realistic of the 30 point drubbing that is likely on the horizon they’d be a much easier team to root for. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

Without anywhere near as much detail as CC would provide, Hoosiers did well. Small class numbers wise which will hurt the national ranking but players seem to be bought in and early impact guys. Sent from my iPhone using BtownBanners

    2021 IUFB Thought

You know damn well Penix will do everything possible to get back on the field at 100%. Obviously and unfortunately it seems unlikely due to his injury history but it will be interesting to follow Penix’s recovery knowing Tuttle is likely the QB1 and I assume most fans have confidence in Jack.
