Gotta spend money to make money. Hopefully next on IU football's list of things to change is to make a football team that produces Ws.

NCAA baseball is about to start and MLB pitchers and catchers meet next week. Yet we are suppose to get half a foot of snow in Indy this week. 

I think Crean needs to hear some criticism for some of the things that he has done during his stay here. He needs to understand that this isn't hockey, you don't have to take everyone out at the same time. I understand giving people breathers, but he could be a little methodical about his subbing pattern. Too many times I have said, "why did he take him out? he is the only one doing anything?" As to the players, if I was them, I would understand the crowds frustration. Im guessing that the lineup out there looked pretty similar to the practice squad. I think that the players that were out there (Marlin, Etherington, Howard, HMP) add there own way of contributing, but when you put a bunch of hustle guys with out any really play makers you are basically cancelling out any potentially positive effect that those hustle players might bring. Also I am not a hockey fan, so that comment was based on the smallest amount of hockey knowledge. 

I once thought that Jeremy could be the new Christian if he put in the effort, but after this year I have given up on that hope. I am not saying that I don't think he can be a solid player, but he isn't going to be CW.

I think Yogi was more frustrated with the officials.

Was any IU fan really expecting us to land Lyles? When Crean didn't go to his shoot around when he decommitted that is when I knew it was over and assumed everyone else did too

Honestly, after seeing the team play the other day and with the holes that will be filled with the incoming class, I think we will be just fine for next year. Lyle would be a nice final piece to help cement that point guard spot (I highly doubt he starts over Yogi), but not necessary.    I love recruiting and follow it way too closely, but it is easy to forget that those incoming freshman are joining a team that is already full of talent. You don't need to have a 6 freshman class every year if you have a bunch of Sophomores through Seniors that are pretty darn good.   That being said, I think we are fine now. Guards got addressed and when coupled with the players they will meet next may, I think we will have ourselves a pretty good team.   Go Hoosiers
