I understand everyone's frustration. That being said, and I understand that this is going to be a very unpopular opinion, we lost to OSU a month ago. I don't know how I would feel if we got in on a technicality over a team that beat us. We talk about asterisks on the achievements of other teams all the time. I say, let's finish out the year strong, get a bowl game win, let the team be pissed about this all offseason, and BEAT OSU next year to remove all doubt.

Indiana vs Purdue GAME CANCELLED AGAIN

B1G East title game at Lucas Oil. OSU v. IU. Winner takes all (even though we already lost). -
If you want historical podcasts, I can't recommend Dan Carlin's Hardcore History enough. There are tons of backlogged episodes and they are LONG, like 3 hours, and go into great detail, with readings and analysts from both first-person and secondary sources. He also narrates it in such a way that makes an already captivating subject even more so. His two series on WW1 and Genghis Kahn are phenomenal.

I was looking forward to watching the USA soccer team play at 7:30 and riding that to the IUBB game!

If UNC loses by 22 or more, can we play them for second place?

IUBB vs Stanford - 12/2/20 @ 1:30 on ESPN

Sadly, no. I think Brunk will have to take the majority of the breather minutes for Race and/or TJD. -

While I agree that could be an issue, I don't think this team is built to be a three-point shooting team. We are built to drive the ball and play through contact. Plus, we were missing arguably our best 3 point shooter with Al. -

Nice win. Love our defense. Lots of room to grow, but happy with the result. I think if we can become more consistent offensively, we will have a really nice season. -

I agree. If he can get his shot down, he will be a great playmaker for us moving forward -

I think having high level/skill, talented players surrounded by veteran guys that know the system and can contribute can produce wins. Romeo's year was a bit of an outlier but I think most would argue that the surrounding talent was not where we wanted it to be (or where it seems to be now), even when including Juawan in that equation. -

Well, with CFB looking like it isn't going to happen, I am glad we have NBA playoffs and happy I have gotten into soccer during the pandemic. It is going to be weird to have crisp fall Saturday afternoons with no football. Athletic Departments are going to feel the ripples of this for years. Maybe they are hoping for football in the spring? -
I think a more appropriate word would be concerned about the numbers, cases, and deaths (plus positivity rate and hospitalization).
-
I don't think it is a subjective test (unless the term means something else in the medical field). It does have an error rate for false positives and false negatives, which is also alarming.
-
Given that it is taking over two weeks to get test results, how accurate are the statistics coming out? There could be more positives out there, which obviously is bad. There could be more negatives out there, which would make the positivity rate would be lower, which is good. I know certain labs are prioritizing patients and patient-facing medical employees, but two weeks for a result is essentially useless to the general population. Does anybody else have the feeling we are playing without a full deck of cards?

Mark Wahlberg making scholarship offers?

His wife -in-law helped set up a clinic in Bloomington for women who are the victims of domestic violence and human trafficking. I can't remember if she is from Bloomington or not. He is also a fan of the Pacers despite being from New York. I did a little more digging and apparently they live in Bloomington part-time. https://www.idsnews.com/article/2020/05/jesse-eisenberg-anna-strout-support-middle-way -
I understand this thought process, but a lot of families (and businesses but that is another matter) budget with the assumption that they won't be receiving a $800 paycut.* If you have a mortgage, a car payment, plus bills - something like what your proposing would lead to a lot of bankruptcies and foreclosures. *I know stuff happens (I got laid off four days before my wedding) and in a perfect world everyone has an emergency fund, but that isn't the case for most people.

I guess I am surprised that people are respecting the rules (players, coaches, staff, journalists, etc.) AND that it still seems to be the same great roundball that I love.
