Welcome GG! I will save judgment for after you get your High School Diploma and move from the 219 to the 812. Hopeful that you will be a great addition to the team, no matter in what capacity! Welcome aboard and go IU! -
I see. Thank you for explaining that for me!

Or maybe he wants to go to some multiple times? I don't know the rules on that though.

I have already put my name down to notify me when they go on sale. -
If you don't see the beneficial gain (absolute necessity really) that strength and conditioning training in summers play in developing a player both mentally and physically then I can't help you.

CTC and his part of the staff can only be with the players for individual drills for 2 hours a week I think. Strength and Conditioning coaches and staff can be with them for a lot longer.

When it comes to the NBA draft (or any draft for that matter) I trust the judgement of higher ups, especially Larry Legend. Remember Steph Curry was picked behind Hasheem Thabeet and Paul George was picked 8 spots behind Evan Turner. Fact is you just don't know. That being said, I want Frank the Tank or Myles Turner I think. However, I am not sure if that will happen. -
(2016) SG Rawle Alkins to Arizona

So does everyone that contributes to 247 just pick Kentucky until a player is closer to picking their school? -
http://www.indystar.com/story/sports/columnists/gregg-doyel/2015/06/03/doyel-crean-painter-jack-competition-season/28434447/ I know some people here aren't big fans of Doyle, but I personally enjoy his writing. Here is a good article on IU and PU being aware of the others great off-seasons and how both coaches have respect for each other and their teams.

http://www.bourbonsbistro.com/Bourbons/the_definition_of_bourbon.html No Kentucky Requirements. Just US and a bunch of other requirements. I get in arguments with my roommate about this all the time. Looked up a list of non-Kentucky bourbons and got this site http://www.nonkentuckybourbon.com/

IU Men's BBall Gets Perfect APR Score Again
Chips&Dipo replied to rebelhoosier848891's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Can confirm. Got into Law School, had a 3.5 GPA senior year of undergrad and worked 2 jobs during that time. Went to the bars 4 to 5 days a week most weeks. -
No idea who wins the B1G now. Probably Wisconsin.
-
I guess IU's schedule this year will be significantly stronger than last years then, right?

2015 Transfers and Early Entries
Chips&Dipo replied to WayneFleekHoosier's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
Rasheed Sulaimon is clear to play this year at Maryland per ESPN. Terps will be pretty good. -
Do you think that maybe the randomly assign roommates? Not saying that is the only way Rob would want to room with priller, just seems like a good way to make sure there isn't factions within the team.

Now that we know who will be back, I really like the idea of having Yogi, JBJ, Troy, Hartman, and Bryant starting. Yogi's ability to dish, drive, and shoot (he will be the all time assist leader). JBJ's ability to shoot (and hopefully better at driving). Troy hopefully takes the jump and gets a good jumpshot (although his shot showed signs of vast improvement) and his ability to BREAK THE RIM. Hartman with his utility ability and three point shooting (as well as his ability to rebound and block shots effectively. He was the teams second leading shot blocker and isn't as jumpy as hanner). Bryant's bad boy block attitude. Getting buckets, rebounds and rim protection. Although, if Coach chooses to move Troy to the four, hartman off the bench, and have ROJO in there instead I would be okay with that. As long as everyone works on defense.

OT: My First Viewing of 'Blue Chips'
Chips&Dipo replied to Hovadipo's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
The old farm house where the coach goes to recruit Ricky Roe is my Great Aunt's house. We go there every Thanksgiving. The studio was nice enough to give her a few director's chairs with the title across them (and I am sure some cash too). -
I do have to say, I appreciate that we are getting donations from IU grads and naming the buildings and halls and things after actual people. I am fine with Cook Hall, Ken Nunn Plaza and Simon Skodjt are a heck of a lot better than "Verizon" or "KFC Yum"

Chips&Dipo replied to ALASKA HOOSIER's topic in Indiana Men's Basketball
I didn't mean to insinuate that if you were from the east-coast you weren't Hoosiers. Sorry if it came across that way. Just trying to make some sense of it. Chicago has the same environment as the NY NJ crowd too. Chicago is a pro sport town.
