I still keep coming back to the one poster whose kid talked with Brads parents somewhere. IU was brought up and his dad said Brad could never do that to Butler! That cuts deep, also is why I’ve moved on from Brad. Would love to be surprised though!

Well, at Wisconsin and at Michigan St seem to always be brought up every year as a loss in everybody’s preseason predictions!

They also screwed the pooch by not mentioning Hodgsons wife being hott! They had one job! Lol

Can we just get a coach who can win more of the “didn’t think we had a chance” games and lose less of the “we should’ve beat them” games? Is that too much of an ask?

I appreciate your point of view on this and response. Do you think McDermott would be like late 90’s IU teams as a ceiling? I see him as early 90’s IU teams who competed for big ten titles and were threats in the dance. That is what I think he would do here. Not just make the tournament.

Yeah, I don’t think he has ever coached one game of d1 basketball! Lol

Give me McDermott! I will take 6-8 years of top 4-5 in the B1G to establish IU again! Get the program on a solid foundation and then get the long term guy!

We need more conference games! Get rid of some of the bs at the beginning of the season! And what is with playing two conference games and going back to non-conference?just stick with conference play ffs! I effing hate that!

What sucks about that? Last year I heard if he lost early in the tourney, he would be ours! Guess what? He lost early and we still had Woody this year! Man I was bummed!

People want the hot name, but there are coaches that can coach that don't have the horses to do exactly what they want them to do! Not the hot name, but I really think Collins is a great coach, and would be great with our resources! There are multiple others too. I will plant my flag on the hill of we will get a great coach one way or the other! Let's get in the dance and make some f***ing noise!

Man, I'm not worried. I think IU would really have to try hard to f*** this hire up I really want to make the dance and then worry about coach search!
