I've never heard of this Drake person. To me, Drake is a university in Des Moines. I'm really old.   If we got Mellencamp to MC at Hoosier Hysteria, would the recruits even know who he is? Probably not.

And if "Results on the court are all that matter", we might as well be Kentucky.

Shake is a high character young man. If he chooses to stay close to home. I fully respect that decision. I think it says little or nothing about IU, its roster, or Crean and his staff. It's about family.

The day JaQuan Lyle becomes a Hoosier is the day I start taking a sabbatical from following IU basketball.

Even without Shake and Bryant we don't have to go there.

I honestly don't believe Crean is interested in recruiting Lyle anymore. Too many academic and character issues to deal with there. But it wouldn't surprise me if Crean continues to be in communication with JaQuan, taking a fatherly interest in his well-being and offering him guidance. That's something JaQuan really needs.

Excellent insight into this season's team. Sounds like we have some very positive things to look forward to. Our guys have been working hard. Mookie's mom will be happy to know that Bozich considers Troy to be IU's most improved player.   I can't wait for the season to begin. Let's go Hoosiers!
