I doubt Dakich was ever part of Sampson's inner circle at IU. Not going to blame him for things that happened during that time.

You can tell from looking at Priller that he has been spending a lot of time in the weight room and otherwise working on improving himself. Being at IU really means something to him. Love that MSB.

I can't even hear the broadcast, but from what you all are writing, I feel sick to my stomach about this program. Something has to be done to set things right.

The night before a scrimmage where children are a major focus of the event!

I don't know why "playing for the other team" has anything to do with the son's arrest. Curt Miller's sexual orientation is his own business.

I'm not looking forward to another rebuild either. I think I am older than just about any other fan here so I have seen more than my share. But my concern is with the well-being of the players and the program. This incident with Devin and Holt was scary. I don't want any player or his family to go through that again. It could be worse next time. Something needs to be done and quickly.

Or don't discuss. Whatever.   I'm sure everything is just fine with the program. Just a freak accident during Halloween.   Very glad that Devin seems to be improving. That is a tremendous blessing.

The coaches' and players' minds must have been on Devin today but I'm sure they wanted the focus to be on the kids enjoying the event. Good for them! 

Hoping and praying that we will hear good news about Devin's condition soon. Also praying for his family who must be going through an absolutely horrific time.

My computer doesn't let me link anything to BtownBanners but I did read elsewhere that Crean said the next 48 hours are crucial for Devin's condition. Also that Devin's parents have not allowed any information about his condition to be released. Both of these things lead me to believe the situation is more serious than we know. Because it is a head injury, I would feel much better if he was being treated up in Indy rather than in Bloomington.

FWIW, even a minor head injury can cause a lot of blood. The fact that he was unconscious is indeed very troubling.

Oh no, a head injury to Devin. That was my fear.

Full recovery "in time". Sounds like a lot of rehab may be needed, but thank God, it seems Devin will recover.   As a fan and an alum, I feel sick about this. Something needs to be done, ASAP, to prevent future incidents. Next time, a life may be lost.

If he is still at Bloomington Hospital, I take that as a hopeful sign. Usually if the injuries are life-threatening ( a brain or spinal injury for example ), a patient like Devin would be taken up to Indy.

Serious is better than critical but still bad.

This is just so horrible. My prayers are with Devin. God bless him with a complete recovery.   I'll keep the rest of my thoughts about this to myself right now.
